Where is the moral ethos of the federal government with COVID- 19?

After weeks of being of a frontline worker and survivor of COVID-19 (I did get sick), I question the federal government ethics. Webster defines ethics as the principles of conduct governing an individual or a group. It is the most unethical and absurd time in American history. I understand it is a novel virus; however, we the people deserve better. President Donald Trump, members of his administration, and several Republicans have bolster medications and treatment regimens that have caused death and or stayed silent, which is a form of agreeing. However, there is no accountability for President Trump, his administration, and elected members of the government that have forced healthcare providers to medications and treatment or chosen to remain silent. Under President Donald J.Trump administration hospitals, nursing homes, state and federal government, and international government are competing with each other for personal protective equipment. 

As healthcare providers and frontline defenders, we must be honest and demand the truth. It is not okay not to have access to personal protective equipment. It is not okay that people are dying. It is not okay that we are not working together internationally to help fight this virus and find a cure. It is not okay President Trump is running the government as an episode on the apprentice. It not okay millions of Americans are unemployed. It is not okay; the economy is in a recession. I challenge myself and every person reading this to demand better from their government. Before someone criticizes what I wrote, let me make it clear, I love being an American citizen. I respect and honor the words of the constitution of the United Staes of America "We the People of the United States, in order to form a more perfect Union, establish Justice, insure domestic Tranquility, provide for the common defence, promote the general Welfare, and secure the Blessings of Liberty to ourselves and our Posterity, do ordain and establish this Constitution for the United States of America." How will history define this moment when defenders to the constitution have remained silent? What is the ethos of the government under Covid-19 when over 100,000 people died in America?

The ethos of narcissistic corruption and dishonesty.  The Trump era of conmen, grifters and charlatans.

We deserve better. Regardless of political affiliation, race, gender, socioeconomic status. We as health care providers need to speak up.

It's nonexistent and our government seems to be nonexistent as well. The government has been co-opted by Trump as they seem to work for him, and him only. The rest of us be damned, including his supporters, they just don't know it yet.

Yes.

It was essentially argued before the Senate, who ultimately agreed, that Trump could do anything to seek reelection and that is okay...he's immune from prosecution.  Now he's also increasingly immune from actual scrutiny or investigation with the replacement of IGs and the DOJs service to the man.

The government is broken. Checks and balances be damned. Throw the whole system away and start over.

That is the day Americans will flush the turd AWAY!!!!!!

Trump's lack of response to CVirus, and the subsequent deaths of Americans is enough to boot him from office. Never mind his other multiple transgressions.

If Biden picks the right running mate, in my opinion, Former First Lady  Michelle Obama then he will the election. We deserve a week of prayer, meditation, and a call to action.

Could you imagine if any other President spoke like Donal Trump? He is an embarrassment to the United Staes Government and has no self-awareness.

He does not know how to manage his own personal company that he inherited by his father how do you think he could possibly manage the United States government.

They went on national tv today and claimed the virus is going away. Claimed it's getting better. How? And Dr. Birx is a disappointment. I had to walk out of the room to keep from breaking my tv.
