I wished that I could go on a vacation.

I wished that I could take away a person's pain. :redbeathe

That the small cell lung ca my Dad just got was wrong. It's not. So my current wish is that chemo, which starts on Tuesday, will be helpful......that and that I and my sisters didn't all live in states far away from him.

I don't wish for much... I hope for some things. But too many to list :)

Yeah- that will be awesome.... wanna have a chat with Corrie TenBoom, Noah (that trip must have STUNK!!), Moses (like - dude- it was a 2-week trip.....why the 40 years- if raising your arms parted the sea, why not wave a stick over their heads and get them to FOLLOW you :D).

Wouldn't mind meeting the baby I miscarried after the rape....it was very tiny- only 10-12 weeks- but I believe it's up there- it had implanted and had a heartbeat- I was relieved not to have to raise it, didn't want to give it up for adoption, couldn't abort it (though I got a real understanding as to what that decision involves), so the miscarriage was a blessing at that point. BUT, that's not a wish I have for here and now :)

I wish to see and hold my baby daughter in Heaven. That's all I can really ask for, as I have been blessed with almost everything else I ever wanted in life. :redbeathe

I wish that everytime I say, "I wish" someone wouldn't come back with the oh-so-clever-comeback, "Wish in one hand and (defecate) in the other".

"If wishes were horses,

Beggars would ride.

If turnips were watches,

I'd wear one by my side.

If ifs and ands

Were pots and pans,

Then the tinker would never work."

I wish that nursey rhyme ended more rythmically.

What is a 'tinker'.... I've heard of people who tinker, or a tinkerer. Not a noun 'tinker'. And there's 'tinkering'. I suppose there could be 'tinkeringly' if pressed for an adverb. I'm befuddled over this 'tinker' :)

Well, my wish for now is simple. I wish that Joe will find a decents night rest and some smiles when he wakes up, about Joy and her funny times. :redbeathe BP
