Thoroughly enjoyed our AN chat, Far. Made for a fun early-evening. :)

Gonna listen to more music. . . but this is music that I'm sequencing/recording for that wedding which I'm "playing" for this coming Saturday.

Nah, I am a Bach fan. Not much call for that.

Call me Far- everyone else does, except for NSIME, who constantly misspells my name.

I am a proud mom. I don't how how my kids turned out well, but they have (so far)

I don't call you Far. AND I spell your name correct.

Farawyn. :wavey:

I'm listening to 80's reloaded on Pandora right now.

"You spin me right round baby right round, like a record baby right round round round."

How's THAT for lyrical genius?!?!

I love love love Pink Floyd and am SO jealous about your concert VIP experience, Far. I saw them in '94 and saw Roger Waters' The Wall tour (in Hartford).

My kids are all band geeks. Oldest child was actually a music ed major (all the saxophones, but mostly alto). Middle child plays trombone and bass guitar- mostly bass guitar now. Youngest plays bass drum in the marching band and just started drum lessons.

I help with my school's (also my kids' school) elite show choir.

Music makes me happy. :D

Yay!!! Lookit what the bobcat dragged in!

I love 80s music. 70s music. 60s music....Even "You Spin Me..." I can still see the video!

I have to have something on in the back round, always, to soothe my mind chatter, or to pump it up!

Roger Waters was one of my best concerts. I've also seen The Who, several times, before Jon Entwistle died, but after Keith Moon. Amazing concert.

John Entwistle is my most favorite-ist bass player of all time (besides my daughter, of course).

I've been to a bajillion concerts. Never have gotten to see The Who though.

Imma gonna go start a new thread!! I wanna know who people have seen in concert. This is very important to me!!

Thank God for Pandora at work, because I would go nuts just listening to the second hand on my clock go round and round and round.

I did play. I played the flute and currently own 2 flutes. I did NYSSMA and all that, but in 11th grade I decided I was too cool to wear the skunk hat from marching band, and I quit.

My kids play. My son plays sax. Our school played at the 100th anniversary of Grand Central Station this year, and also at Carnegie Hall. My son played the intro to Danny Boy on the Bari sax, so technically he soloed at Carnegie Hall.

I just love music. I would die without it.

That song makes me cry every time I hear it. When I was in Ireland, we saw a group that played all sorts of Irish music. When they started in with "Danny Boy," my Mom and I immediately started boohooing.
