Do you have an Aldi's?

No, we don't have those out here. I hear they're amazing stores.

I think related to Trader Joes but cheaper. My son chose Atlantic City for his 10th birthday. And now the perseverating child that he is constantly reminds me we're going to Vegas for his 21. I told him I'm going to start drinking when I finally let him get a driver's license.

Indeed. If you like horse meat and aisles designed out of boxes.

Actually, Aldi's is pretty cool if you want to save major dollarini's on fruits and veggies. Otherwise, their food kinda grosses me out. And, plan on taking your grocery list and shopping at two stores because they will not have everything you need.

At this point in my life, ain't nobody got time fuh dat.

Looks like I'll be hanging with Beachy lol

Hmm. Maybe I'll just stick to my original plan lol.

Silent treatment is so childish. I hate that. I'm pretty lucky in that my SO and I are both too emotionally ADD to hang on to grudges or give each other the silent treatment at all. We get mad for like five minutes, then he farts on me very loudly, I curse at him and swat him hard on the butt, and then we both dissolve into laughter and the fight is over. I'm not sure if that's really the mature way to handle things or not, but it works for us.

I have learned I can survive really long truck trips just fine. I was off all weekend, so I left with the SO on Saturday. We dropped a load in Boston, MA, picked up a load in Ayer, MA, and just got back late last night. I re-learned that my boyfriend has HORRIBLE taste in hotels, and next time I go somewhere with him, I am hitting TripAdvisor pretty hard before he stops. I know hotels with massive semi-truck parking are limited, but we seriously stayed in one of the scariest places I have ever seen in my life the last night of the trip, and I just can't even believe how bad the hotel was. Just unreal. Awful area, place was half-destroyed, even the outside door with the key reader had been removed so anyone could just walk straight in at any time.

If you want some real entertainment, read about The Stratford Hotel and Conference Center on TripAdvisor and congratulate me on still being alive. That is some seriously entertaining reading. Thankfully, the bar called "A Bronx Tale" had been shut down because the bartender couldn't pay rent. My boyfriend had bragged on it from a previous stay, but I am really glad I missed that particular gem.

I missed you guys. :)

I like that there's 1 5-Star rating saying the place is perfect amongst all the other horrible comments. Really? They could at least try not to be obvious. A well deserved congrats.

On a completely unrelated note, I learned that when middle schoolers say something about "a jump to the left and a step to the right." They don't think it's acceptable to start singing "you put your hands on your hips; and pull your knees in tight"

And now that song has been in my head nonstop.

They weren't even talking about the time warp.

I would not have been able to resist, either. I like to listen to Pandora. My favorite station is the musicals station. One time while walking in a park on an exercise track with my husband Time Warp came on and of course I had to stop and do the jump to the left, and pulling my knees in tight. I got a lot of funny looks. But I was laughing and it was fun.
