The other day while I was working the price of gas went up 15 cents a gallon. I should have filled up on my way to work. I was wondering how much other people across the country were paying for a gallon of gas and how far they drove to work.

I live in West Virginia and paying 3.15 a gallon and hear it is to go up to 4.00 this summer. I only drive 10 miles to work but how long can we do this withut needing a pay raise to keep up.

MS Gulf Coast is at 2.90 per gallon, but some days it fluctuates up/down as much as 10-20 cents.

About the same in Baton Rouge. The highest I've seen is $3.05 USD.

Thought that California had the highest, especially San Francisco area. In Los Angeles area, the price of regular unleaded is now over $3.00 / gal.

If you want full service, then expect to pay over $4.00/gal.

Here in Central Maryland the cheapest I've found is $2.99 for regular. DH figured he pays $11 a day in his little car to commute to work. I'm glad we don't have a big honker of a truck or SUV right now. I know some people are saying it's over $90 to fill their vehicles.
