Another good day at work.  Quieter than expected, and productive.  Got some extra work to do, for a coworker who's been off work a while, not sure why.  Should be manageable

After work the usual exercise and crafting

Looking ahead to the holiday weekend, looks like storms Memorial Day, but less likely on Sat and Sun

Have the grocery shopping tonight

Glad that our family is finally considering dates for the reunion for next year, and starting to come up with dates for whatever we decide to do this year instead

Going to be in the 60s today, will soon be in the 70s, could be 80s by the weekend

Good Morning!

Hope you have a good day Joe.

Wasn't needed to work overtime today.  Nothing much going on today but the routine.

Met up with best friend, it was good to see him.  We had dinner at a restaurant with outside seating and I had a very unhealthy burger and fries, then we went to our favorite gelato shop.  The strip we were on was a ghost town during the lockdown and it was nice to see it back open.  It's normally a thriving part of town.  I felt perfectly fine with the situation as people stayed away from each other.

Hope everyone has a great day.

Good Morning -

Joe -  Good that work was relatively "Q" yesterday. Hope today it nice for you.

Tweety - Seems like you had a nice day for yourself, yesterday. Glad that you were able to go out with your best friend. "Burger and Fries" sounds unhealthily delicious!

Just woke up from First Sleep. Slept well. . .

Work was an "OK" busy, last night. Had one patient in the ICU who was very stable (and didn't need to be in the ICU). What kept me "OK Busy" was that he'd pee in the urinal in bed, but inevitably spilled some of the pee onto himself and the bed linen. He's a very nice guy from a near-by LTC facility. He just has a tough time coordinating the urinal. We must have cleaned him & changed the bed linen around 6+ times, last night. He was kept comfortable, safe and dry.

Working tonight. However, there's a really good chance that there'll be no patient in the ICU (unless there's a new admission). If there's no patient in the ICU, and being On Call is offered, then I'll take it!

It's a gorgeous-looking day outside, today. Think I'll go downstairs, eat with Amy and enjoy a little bit of the outdoors. By 2:00 PM I'll be back in bed for Second Sleep.

Cheers! 🙂

Good morning Joe, Tweety, and Ted!

Lots of red tape and papers to fill out, a drive through virus test for husband for same day surgery next week.  Answering the same questions over and over too.

I heard from one of the kids I cared for decades ago. He lives in another syate and is a surgeon. He was a happy smart, and brave toddler. The first to climb high without fear. Once in the time I was in the bathroom he pushed a chair up to a cupboard, piled books on top and began climbing to reach a top shelve. He wasn't afraid, but I was.

It was nice to see what a fine family man he is now! We stood in our front yard wearing masks. He came to visit his mom and she wanted me to see him.

Good afternoon-

I'm in the office today, seeing patients face to face.  It's the first time since we closed on St. Patrick's Day.  It's good to be back.  For the foreseeable future I'll be working 2 days in the office and 3 at home. I like that mix.

We've had a sunny week, with temperatures now in the 60s.  It will get warmer as the week progresses.  I can't believe this weekend is Memorial Day weekend.  I've lost track of time.  I have a lot of mulch to spread this weekend and more veggies to plant.

Joe-I hope you can get your reunion scheduled.  Hope work goes well.

Tweety-I'm glad you to got to celebrate your birthday with your BFF and have a nice meal outdoors.  Gelato is a wonderful way to end the day.

Ted-I hope you get to be on call tonight.

Herring-I hope all is well for your DH's surgery.  I'm sure you were very happy to see the "child" you used to care for.  He sounds like a lovely person.

Hi to NSIME, Dianah, Amo, Rose, and anyone else who stops by.  Have a great day!

Very rainy for the next few days, cold-ish today and tomorrow and then 79 degrees and more rain on Friday.  Nothing unusual going on.
