Good Morning to you all,

Another lovely day yesterday although I ended up doing 5 visits but still all in all was productive. Today I am only scheduled to see 3 patients but I am taking 1/2 a day off to get my car serviced and a lab draw then spending time at home with the boys.

Glorious weather yesterday had the sun roof open and windows down, sure did enjoy my day immensely. Had a little office time at the end of my day to check my MD faxes then toodled off home.

We had a truck go into the corner of our office the poor guy went to Advanced Auto over the road, locked his truck but left it in neutral so it decided to back out the driveway go over a busy road without hitting anyone, down an embankment and into our office. It caused quite a hole in the side, pushed the wall and buckled the window. Now we are worried about mice or snakes getting in as you can pull the wall back and see daylight even though they have boarded up the hole it is not enough for us. LOL

Initially when he came out he thought his truck had been stolen, he was seen looking around scratching his head as he had the keys in his pocket then he looked down the road and saw the police etc and finally his truck poor guy.

Our volunteer coordinator was in her office on that side of the building and said when the truck hit there was nearly another hole in the ceiling as she jumped so high!

Hope you all have a most excellent and productive day no matter what you get up to.

Much love to you all this day.

Good morning!

Sabby, that's crazy about the truck. I'm glad no one was hurt. I hope the snakes don't get in to your office! Enjoy your afternoon off.

Today's my long day at work, but I'm meeting my SO for dinner afterwards, so that's something to look forward to. DD graduates Sunday, so I'll have my family over afterwards for a little celebration. We will also have a planning meeting for our trip to Paris. DS moves to Cape Cod this weekend for the summer. I'm going to miss him, but my grocery budget will be happy. Lots of changes, but they're all good ones.

I hope everyone has a wonderful day.

Good Morning -

BCgradnurse - Seems like you have some nice plans for yourself and family! Congrats on your DD graduating. Your trip to Paris sounds exciting! :)

Sabby_NC - Seems like you had quite the eventful day yesterday! That must have been a frightful experience for all involved! Hope nobody got hurt! YIKES!!! Is your office safe structurally? Might you all need to find another office-space while your office get repaired? Hope the truck driver is OK and that he didn't lose his job. (Although, "losing" his truck like he did was a pretty big "Oopsie". Yikes!) Glad to read that the rest of your day was nice.

My day, yesterday, wasn't quite as interesting. But it was nice.

The first half of yesterday was bright and sunny outside. The second half? Not so much. There was LOTS of rain, lightening, thunder and howling wind. LOVED IT! There's something nice about being in the house as stormy weather passes by. But the dogs didn't like it at all. LOL! They stuck to me like glue!

Got a lot done, yesterday. Took out the trash, serviced Amy's car, paid bills, went grocery shopping, got a hair cut and spent a fair amount of time calming two very nervous canine family members. Today is the last of FIVE nights off from work. I work the next three nights (Thursday, Friday and Saturday), then I'm off for a mini-vacation! Yes! :D

I have NOTHING to do today . . . except. . . maybe. . . put pencil to blank manuscript paper. (It just might happen! It just might happen! LOL!)

Take care. folks. Peace to all who travel here! :)

Ted

Morning Sabby BC Ted.

Couldn't post yesterday for some reason.

Ugh, I thought yesterday would be easy, didn't have my usual meeting. The morning was, but the afternoon was a killer. Hoped to have time to go out for lunch, no dice. Oh well, at least I got everything done I wanted. If I'd had the meeting too I would have been way behind.

Did the laundry last night. Going to do the grocery shopping tonight.

It's odd, I've been waiting for Mr. Migraine, I've had warning symptoms since Mon, but nothing so far. Hopefully he'll stay away.

Weather has turned cooler here, will remain cooler the next week or two.

Morning all - it is my midweek day off. But of course that all stops next week as I'm off for the summer with one job. Yippee!

No news is good news.

Glad to read that no one was hurt . . .that would make a good insurance commercial though Sabby.

Glad Mr. Migraine is staying away Joe.

Paris? I'm always so curious how people get to take these kinds of vacations. I'm jealous.

I just have a hospice meeting at 1215 . . so I'll have to think of some fun things to do. I'll be back on call at 1700.

Enjoy your Wednesday!

Well, fun stuff out the door. Spidey was writhing on the floor with abdominal pain - last time this happened I let it go on for a few hours before taking him to the ER. It ended up costing me about $1500 for constipation and gas pain.

So, I just spent $7.00 for Simethicone . . . . we shall see. And yes nurses, he had a bm today but that doesn't mean he isn't full of . . . . . . . poop. ;)

Now Ted . .. . . I've moved from pee to poo . . . . . are you ok? :D

Edited to add . . . . he's ok now and I just dropped him off at school.

Good to read you all.

I'm just finishing up my lunch break. We had a good morning. Busy with surgeries but it went smooth. We are just about done so I feel safe enough to say it now. ;)

Hmmm, break time is over. See ya.

Spoke too soon . . . back home in half an hour. On the couch watching "How To Train Your Dragon". Medicated with anti-gas and stool softener.

Dh came home to watch him while I went to my hospice meeting.

Finishing up repotting all my house plants and also bought some more flowers for the porch.

Now . . . a little break for Diet Pepsi and Planter's Dry Roasted Peanuts.

so is Spidey ok? Poor guy. Well there is nothing funny about poo or gas altho that kind of a bill is not funny at ALL!!

glad everyone was ok Sabby after the truck hit your office (sounds funny)

Spent the day w/ a good friend, went to lunch, did some errands, bought some chocolate ... yeah there is nothing more fun than having melted chocolate all over your fingers as it dissolves in your mouth. Yep... lol

Hope all are fine, nice reading you all!!
