herring - how do I bookmark here?

Seriously, I think I may be dropping out. The changes just don't come across as user-friendly to me. Computer dinosaur here.

I assume you are working from a desktop or a laptop computer?  At the top of the page should be a small star emblem.  Place your cursor over it, and the word "bookmark" should appear.  Click on the star, and you will likely be asked if you wish to book mark this page.  Click yes (or affirmative, however your computer does this).

This page is now saved.  Also at the top of the computer page should be four vertical lines, the one on the right leaning on the other three.  Position your cursor over this and the words "view history, saved bookmarks, and more" should appear.  Click on the vertical lines, and a list will appear, with one of the lists being Bookmarks, prefaced by a star.  Click on Bookmarks and scroll down to the url for this page.

That's as close as I can come, without seeing what computer you are using, and under what system (Win10 for android computers, for example).

On my computer there is a star at the end of the line with the address https://allnurses-breakroom.com/wednesday-july-t177746/?tab=comments#comment-1602510

It has an outlined star. I click it and it appears in my bookmarks. It may be different on your computer. OR just save this address. Write it down or put it on a document: https://allnurses-breakroom.com/

You'll probably be used to it by the time they finish. I enjoy your posts and discussion and would miss you if you leave.

IGNORE MY RESPONSE and follow dianah's instructions!

TY y'all for your help. But I still don't see/locate things you point out. I did find the star but am afraid to add any new 'bookmarked' responses for fear I might 'lose' some there already  (Didn't know that's what they were - 'bookkmarked'.) It's through one of them that I manage to enter the blue side here.

I'm not into crosswords & word puzzles, etc. I like the easy going camaraderie here - I think it's the maturity thing. No pressure. Kind like keeping up with old neighbors or your distant cousins. I stay tuned in.

I feel like I go thru withdrawal when my computer is wonky (a new favorite word for me that I picked up from AN). I was so out of it atl my recent hosp,  I didn't miss it - lucky I knew my name!

I've learned a lot from the yellow side - I retired in 2010 and things change. So I 'd miss here. Computer-y things just baffle me - thing is, I don't really have a need for much 'computering'.  Or most anything more hi-tech. Sheesh, et my new cell phone. Don't know how to use it without reading my 'cheat card'.

I'm as confused as a Feral whanmpzupi with kookamongus of the bingus.

Is there to be no more Daily Diary? Is it all now to be on the yellow side? Are we now the Coffee Lounge Club? I'm with amoLu; there is no other thread like this one. If I sign in tomorrow, for instance, what will I find.

Please don't break up this old gang of mine! For some of us oldie-moldie's who aren't really exactly involved in the nursing thing so much anymore, or are close to, or leaning toward retirement...The maturity level, common experiences, FRIENDS, ... it is all very important to me. I need it.

Please, rather than explaining it, especially to us not-too-savvy-with-computers ....Say, like, OKAY, sign in here, in this way. What you are looking for will now be under the title ____________.

So I bookmarked THIS date, what about the new days that come along? Are they to be bookmarked every day? I freely admit I am a panicked idjet at this point and I don't want practically the only place I go on AN to change beyond recognition.

Mebbe I'm over-reacting. Maybe. I. just. don't. get. it.

*sigh*

How to bookmark depends on your browser (Internet Explorer, Chrome, Safari, Firefox, for example).

If you are using Chrome, aka, Google, just click in the little star in the address box. It will give you the option to add it to your favorites bar.

I use Safari, so I navigate up to the upper left side under Bookmarks, and choose the option I want.

I think for Internet Explorer, there is a star icon in the upper right corner for bookmarking.

Please don't drop out, we love you!

I'm pretty sure it is planned to take one or two months. Here is where we can discuss moving the Breakroom:

So Hello! Again not much going on.

I've been enjoying "Star Trek Picard".  It seems a bit tedious compared to most Star Trek iterations.

Has anyone watched "The Good Fight"? I liked the original, but this season is confusing. (ON CBS All Access $5.00 a month. I joined using Roku to watch Star Trek Discovery. I have access to all CBS shows. I've watched old Perry Mason and Dragnet show on it too.)

Dh and I watched the first two episodes of Discovery; agreed it was much darker than the other Star Trek series.  We left it for now.  Haven't seen any of Picard, is it good?

Saw a review for Norsemen: supposedly like The Office only with Vikings!  I told my kids about it, they are anxious to try it out.  Then I did a little more research.  Sounds more raunchy in some areas than I would tolerate...  probably more to the younger generations' taste.

I'm liking it, but not a much as the previous ones. Patrick Stewart just turned 80, but in the show Picard is supposed to be in his 90s.
