Good Morning -

Enjoying a nice, relaxing night in my little studio. Been listening to some cool tunes and playing around with Dave, here. LOL! (Hi Dave! You're a funny fellow! LOL!)

Will probably go to bed soon and attempt to catch a few "ZZZZZZs". Later this morning, my father is coming over for a visit. We'll probably go to a museum if he's up to it. Afterward, we'll have a little mid-afternoon outside grill type dinner. The weather forecast calls for thunder storms today, though. So we might end up going out to one of the local diners. Nothing much else planned for today. Looking forward to spending time with my father.

I can't believe that it's July already!!! It seems like time is just flying by.

Anyway. . . I hope all is well with everyone today. Hope you all have a nice day. Peace, folks! :)

Ted

Edited to add:

Here's a YouTube video of Pat Metheny. His group is playing the tune, "Facing West" from his album, Secret Story. This tune is a nice one to hear for an early morning "pick me up". It's a happy tune and gives me happy feet whenever I hear it. Actually this entire album gives me "happy feet"! LOL! This video is of his "live" concert back in 1992! (My, how time flies.) Enjoy! :)

Good Morning!

No time to post. Spent an inordinate amount of time following the Davey-Do and Ted Show this morning and now I will almost be late for work if I don't get going FAST!

Have a lovely day!

Morning Ted Davey Stars

I can't believe it's July either.

Had a bit of a headache yesterday most of the day. I think it was eyestrain, I notice I get these headaches if I spend a lot of time on my tablet. Have to be more careful in the future.

Yesterday was otherwise fine, phone hardly rang, got everything done, had time for lunch. It's odd, since I've decided to be more careful with my time I find I have more time at work. Which is good, I was getting overwhelmed there for a while.

Did some walking last night after doing the laundry. Tonight I"ll try to walk again after I do the grocery shopping.

Weather has been cool, will be cool for the next few days.

Morning all.

Very crazy day with hospice yesterday. Too bad I can't go into details.

Today, focus on housework again plus finish mowing the lawn. Every time I started to mow, a hospice call would come.

Weird thunderheads and then a big wind and black clouds last night. Rained around the perimeter of the valley. Just one of those odd storms that feels eerie.

Spidey and dad are headed south to get mosquito fish to plant up here. Pesky mosquitoes are everywhere!

I can't believe it is July either - please slow down because I have to go back to my second job in the middle of August!!!!!!!

Good day all.

Just finished getting a CPAP machine. I am open to a trial of it. Not sure I want or need it. Makes me wonder if I did not have great insurance how "important" my HCP might think it is.

I brought some Persian Basil back from the mts., grown by my DSis. It has taken root and looks very healthy. I can think of wonderful things to make with it in a few days.

I was asked to make cookies for an event 7/5 so am getting ready to make dough today. I am not baking any yet but will get some in the frig today, and more tomorrow. I will be baking 7/4. I expect to make in the neighborhood of 300 - about 8 different kinds. We will see how ambitious I am.

Work included hauling lots of very heavy stuff last night so have a few tweaks in the back this morning. I expect they will work themselves out later.

We are under a heat advisory. I have no plans to go out until it cools down a bit. I keep the AC on 80 and it has been on most of the day, already. I may bump it up to 82. as I await the T'storms that will come.

Enjoy. Oh, and I do believe it is July. When it is hotter than 'ell and the corn is growing at night - it is July.

Yup, It's July! I'm not sure how that snuck up on us so fast. We never really had Spring, and all of a sudden it's blazing hot summer. Mind you, I'm not complaining.....you don't have to shovel heat.

I'm in my "Pleasantville" office today, so it's not crazy and I'm nice and relaxed. Yesterday was a different story. The "Mothership" office is it's own circle of hell at times and yesterday was one of those times. Thank goodness I work with wonderful people.

I guess we may be due for some bad weather on the 4th. SO and I are going to New York City for the weekend, just for fun. Even if it rains there'll be a lot to do and see.

Hope all are well. Stay cool and enjoy your day.

Had a very nice, laid-back day with my little lady.

There were two TREMENDOUS storms that blew through late this afternoon. The wind was tossing the trees every-which-way and the thunder and lightening were right on top of us, while the rain came in sideways, very hard against the windows. It was so nice just to sit and watch it all. Fortunately my lady appreciates a good storm. I've had some patients who make you close the blinds and drapes when it storms. What fun is that?!

We had some rather strong storms I watched go up the river tonight. I enjoy a good storm. It always reminds me of my father who would put my kids on his lap, cover up with a blanket and sit on the porch with a cigar in his mouth to watch the lightning. If the weather was good they watched "lightning bugs" (fireflies). Great memories associated with good storms.

Forgot to mention the 'storm' I found evidence of when I got home from work.

Some Juve-Delique DOG ( Girl Dog, always ) got into the trash bag that was full of cross-cut shredding.....she had just a grand old time digging it all out and scattering it about. WOW! What a mess! She is SUCH a dog!

When I say "Bad Dog!" she turns her head sideways and looks at me out of the corners of her eyes.

My fault. Shouldn't have left the bag on the floor of my room ( the den --1/2 bedroom ).

Well, at least it wasn't garbage.
