I do get a lot of weird comments, Stars. I don't know why.

Nannie watches a lot of baseball. I couldn't do it.

Couldn't even bare to watch Red Sox live at Fenway Park.

So, dreadfully boring.

How does she stay awake?

Speaking of weird comments, Some guy stopped me in the grocery store last night and said "Did you graduate from South High in 1995?"  I said "no, but I think I love you".  I graduated from high school in 1979.  He may want to get his eyes checked.  He may just say that to all the women, but he was with who I assumed was his wife, so maybe not.

My "Liking" ability has been restored, hallelujah, and I'm a'clickin' on "Likes" all OVER the place! Wheeee!

Well, the thing about Baseball is, if you follow one team and are familiar with all the players and their playing histories and abilities, and in some cases, their family (new babies)... it isn't such a distant or boring thing. Teams I don't follow? Pfft! I could care less. But I am thoroughly enjoying the Atlantic Braves again this year. Prior to last year, I didn't watch any baseball because the last time we followed the Braves was back in the late 80's, early 90's. In between then and now, the team was doing miserably, for the most part. Now, there are so many really GOOD players, and you can see them progress as a team. So, I'll climb back down from my soapbox about baseball....

Remember when I was enthusiastically explaining about spiders (and I like Jumping Spiders in particular) and snakes? Black King Snakes? Don't EVER kill THEM! They eat poisonous snakes, among other things, which puts them way ahead of other snakes, IMHO. Okie-dokie, then ...

I guess you could say I have a wide-range of eclectic interests. But so doth y'all, which makes it so nice here!

ETA: I felt TORTURED when any of my private duty patients were into always watching football. AGONY! AN EXTRAVAGANZA of BOREDOM. I learned to tolerate SOME basketball, but the guy who watched game-shows all. day. long. was a real killer.

It hasn't happened lately . . . but I do love it when people think I'm younger than I really am.  Especially when I'm the mom of a 17 year old boy who is a junior in high school and I'm 61!  You do the math.  😉

My older kids are 36, 34, and almost 30.

By the way, with Nannie's Team, it's also the guys' personalities, and yes, some of the young men are cute. Nannie will say, "Oh, I like him! He's so cute. He's good."  And  the way they interact with each other is interesting: laughing, joking, or seriously discussing something. Right now they are really are well-practiced, enjoying playing ball and boy-howdy, you can tell.

OK, I'm done gushing. 🤦‍♀️ Good Grief.

ETA: We kind of get into it like some do with Soap Operas..."They're like family and friends." even though we've never met 'em.

Can't sleep.

Got off on time.  Dh got battery changed in the RV.  I took the old one back for recycling fee.  We had dinner with friends at the Mediterranean restaurant, yummy!  He -- M --  broke a rib when he sneezed while reaching across a table for a tissue!  Poor guy!  It's not too painful if he doesn't move...  They plan on camping at the festival, next to us, this weekend.  She is our fiddler.

We would like to leave tomorrow for the festival, but with dh getting over his cold and having to spend time to get the new RV battery, we aren't as ready as we'd like to be.  Will see how the day's preparations go.

Good Nannie at least watches a sport.  MIL used to watch the news and then fret and worry over all the bad news.  it really increased her anxiety.  We finally suggested she watch something else.  I think she moved on to cooking shows...

See y'all in the mornin!
