Another right-wing critic of Trump speaking out

  1. Right-wing talk show host Joe Walsh tells Salon: Donald Trump “betrayed his country” | Salon.com

Former Tea Party IL congressman Joe Walsh joining the small group of conservatives willing to speak out against Trump. Interesting interview. I've seen him on TV with similar comments recently, also.

GOP governors critical of Trump are the nation's two most popular governors
Two GOP governors who have a history of being critical of President Trump are the most popular governors in the United States, according to a new poll.

Blue-state Republican Gov. Charlie Baker is currently ranked in first place on the Morning Consult poll released on Wednesday with 69 percent of registered voters in his state of Massachusetts voicing support for him.

And Maryland Gov. Larry Hogan (R, who also serves in a blue state, is ranked a close second with 68 percent of his state's registered voters' support.

Both Republican governors have a history of breaking with the Trump administration...

... Hogan criticized Trump's comments after last year's deadly protest in Charlottesville, Va., when Trump blamed both sides for the violence, saying he made "a terrible mistake," according to The Baltimore Sun.

He also ripped Trump in March after the president responded to school shootings with a call to give guns to teachers, saying: "I don't think we should be handing out guns to drama teachers and biology teachers."...

Trump likes to punish people who publicly criticize him or his policies. We are not seeing many courageous politicians these days.

Gov. John Kasich, as also been a frequent critic of DJT.

Kasich blasts Trump over tariffs he says harm Ohio farmers - News - The Columbus Dispatch - Columbus, OH

I don't agree with his stance on not allowing women to freely make choices about their health care, but I do agree many of his other positions.

Yes, Kasich has been consistently critical of Trump, but he is also about as close to a "moderate" Republican as still exists these days. Walsh is a Tea Party Republican "true believer" who was previously a big Trump supporter.

Kasich is who I would have supported. I certainly don't agree with all of his ideas, but he is not a charlatan.

I agree; I disagree with him on a lot of issues, but I could have lived with him as president.
