Good Morning!

Dianah, glad you're well enough to go to work.  I think these days it's wise to get tested with symptoms and glad you were negative.

Stars, I guess boredom is better than chaos.

It's chilly here down in the upper 50's and my heat is on.  High is to be 66 which is below average.  At least with was nice when I was out and about.

Bowling was fun but we were defeated all games and are still in last place.  Only four weeks to lift ourselves up.

Slept in fits and not much.  Finished up a good book and stayed up late and got up too early.

Today I'm going to finalize my list for Thanksgiving and get the shopping done.  Will cook some side dishes.  Meeting BF for a movie tonight.  Seeing "Belfast" in the theaters.

Have a great day!

Tweety I'm planning to do shopping tonight too, since tomorrow will be crazy

Stars the weather has been like that here lately

Dianah glad you're better and that you're negative

Work wasn't too bad although busy towards the end, with some later calls and some technical problems

After work exercised and stopped at Joann to get some crochet stuff.   I know I had said I wasn't going to craft anymore but I want to give crochet one more try

Today will do the grocery shopping and exercise

Will be in the 40s today, will be up to 50 tomorrow

Good morning. Yes, Dianah, good idea to get tested!

Yesterday was sort of wasted. I tried to go for a run, but my preferred trail was still closed by flood damage, as was choice #2. I finally settled at the beach, and my ear buds wouldn't work, so I tried to listen to my podcast just through the phone and missed half of it. There weren't as many shore birds as usual, some gulls and some brandt geese. I had to drive to work even though its my day off to turn in my time sheet. Perhaps before I retire they will enter the 21st century and get an electronic system where I don't have to physically sign a piece of paper! I made spaghetti for dinner, almost fell asleep whilst eating, so turned in early. Dishwasher will be installed today (yay) and I should shop. And I told youngest I would go get his new tires mounted.

I want to see "Belfast", perhaps this weekend.

I've been seeing a couple of little yorkies out walking in the morning. They are pretty dang cute. And there is another little fluffy thing, maybe a shih tzu, that seems fun. Unfortunately , Angus is so reactive to other dogs I can't get close enough to even talk to the owners or meet the dogs.

As Red Skelton used to say "I dood it! I dood it!" I don't know which character he was or what he 'dood', but it's apppropriate because I DID 'dood' it. But, I still hate shopping!

Found two pair of shoes that were SORT OF what I wanted. I thought, bein' as how I have flat feet, that the Skecher's arch-fits would be good. However! It seems like all the Skechers and the Clark's that I found 1.) had no navy blue choices, OR 2.) had nothing suitable in my size, and 3.) were cloth or suede. I did not want any cloth 'air-cooled' shoes, so that eliminated the Skechers. And if I got suede shoes you could bet you sweet bippy that the first thing I would do is spill food on them that could not be cleaned off! So, I found some leather shoes (black was my only choice) which will have to do. They are 'Easy Street' brand and were only $29. I like Easy Spirit brand, too, but they didn't have anything I wanted, and the cloggish shoes they have do not fit my feet well, and they were kind of too expensive! I hate shopping, and I hate shopping for shoes (and tmi: bras 😝 ).

I stopped at the little Books-a-Million and found 2 hardcover books on sale for less than the price of paperbacks. Don't ask me the titles, or the authors....though I did chose them by the authors I have read before. At least I have something to read tonight!

Not so cold or windy today, thank-goodness. Supper is here, so I have to go now.....

Hello all!  Thanks for your encouragement!  Didn't sleep well last night but got up and trundled off to work anyway.  It was busy but being busy kept me awake, lol!  Tomorrow, unless too many ppl call off sick, both of us will be in the office doing Case Management.  Hope it works out like that, as lots needs catching up on!

We were invited by oldest ds's sweet gf, to her mom's house for Thanksgiving.  Will meet her family.  We are not required to bring anything.  Am still thinking about that one (I bought supplies at the store, to make Spice Cookies with Pumpkin Dip).  If I get myself into the kitchen, and make the dough tonight, it will refrigerate overnight and will be ready for baking tomorrow.   Hmmm.  Yup I think so.

Have a good evening!

Okay, okay, I know no one will sleep if I don't tell you the books I got: one's by Karin Slaughter (again), The Last Widow, and one's by Scott Turow, The Last Trial. Didn't notice 'til I got home that they both have the word "last" in the titles. Good thing I'm not superstitious! I had a friend once who would say,  "Ooh, I wonder what that means?!"

Hubby has an appt for a haircut tomorrow afternoon. I ain't got nuffing, thank the Lord, except maybe I should put my folded, clean clothes away. If I'm not forgetting I have a load of laundry going, I'm ignoring having to put them up. The laundry basket's sat in the middle of my room since yesterday and I have successfully managed to walk around it and ignore it....not so easy in such a small room as this!

Yeah, so, I guess I'll put on my fuzzy sleep socks and get under the comforter and start reading!

See yez tomorry!

stars - that's the way I cuddle up to go to sleep in my recliner. I need to ALWAYS ALWAYS ALWAYS use my cpap. Get into chair = put on cpap. So wearing the full mask eliminates the poss of my nose wearing eyeglasses.

dianah - if I invite you over, will you bring the cookies? Had a boss who'd bake for the office. Her specialty was gingerbread loaf with lemon curd/pudding sauce. You just reminded me.
