Morning

Busy day at work yesterday, got a lot done

After work was productive too, got laundry and exercise done and started working on Christmas gifts

After work today the church group is meeting at a local Italian place.  Might try to squeeze in grocery shopping before then as I have a fairly short list this week

Weather is turning rainy but will be in the 40s and 50s

Good morning!

I've been up but figured Joe was going to start the thread soon.

Joe, hope you have a good day and evening.  I love good Italian food.

Didn't know about the raccoon sex killing grass.  Interesting.

Herring, hope you had a good time with son on his 49th.

Stars, good to hear there are some options on the horizon for you to get a break.

J22, "boring but tolerable" is better than intolerable I suppose.

Dianah, sounds like a nice evening.

We lost all our games last night in bowling,  partly because I forgot my ball and had to bowl with a house ball and I bowled terrible.  But my teammate bowled horrible too so at least I didn't drag us down.

Nothing much going on today.  Hot yoga and a visit to best friend.  He's out of his boot and told to wear sneakers instead and continue to try to bear weight.  His doc is baffled why it's taking so long to heal and ordered some labs all of which were normal.   But considering it was a spontaneous fracture without any trauma, it's no wonder it's taking so long.  He had his 3rd MRI last night.  He does seem to be getting better.

I had a dream best friend and I were in Australia boat riding and I got separated from the group.  This is the first time in many years I don't have  a trip on the horizon.  Other than using $700 for insurance and things, I still have a nice "travel fund" built up from the canceled trip and more contributions.  Just waiting on best friend's foot to heal.

Tweety, any thoughts of where you next might like to travel?  I'm sure you have a bucket list!

Joe, hope the day goes well for you.

We actually have rain forecast for Wed and Thurs!

Have a good day!

Good morning Joe, Tweety, Dianah, and whoever visits later!

I plan to get the holes in the yard planted with grass seed. I wouldn't do it on a hot day.

Howdy Tuesday!

I met the neighbor's new little fat bulldog puppy; really cute, with rolls of fat, and absolutely full of herself. She is mostly white, with freckled ears and larger spots of light brown areas of around her tubby little bod. They've had her for two days. Ozzie met her this morning, after I had to carry him across the wet grass to do so. They sniffed at each others noses from a 2 ft distance, and then Ozzie essentially said "Pfftt." and walked away. He don't care 'bout no stinkin' puppy, he said.

Another overcast day, but it's going to be in the 50's this week, so not so shivery as it has been. Maybe I'll get around to cleaning up my room today, as I have been meaning to do, but never got around to these past 3-4 days.

Have to get Nannie's little red sedan over to the shop (the mechanic is the hairdresser's husband) on Thursday afternoon. It has NO heat! Anyway, hubby and Nannie go get their hair-cuts on Thursday afternoon, and hubby will call me to come over and pick them up after their appt is over. Hopefully the car will be ready after hubby's doc's appt on Friday afternoon (Just several miles away).  THEN we can look at the calendar and contact one of 'The Ladies Who Sit' and arrange our R & R time for next week. w00t! There will be NO errands run on that day, though we do plan on going to wander the Big-A$$-mall; and maybe I can find some bluejeans.

Took in the hummingbird feeder this morning; the season for them is ovah until next year.

Hope y'all have a good day today; tomorrow is the proverbial Hump Day, then ya blink and it's Friday again. The days are long even though it gets dark earlier, but somehow the weeks are whipping by.

Toodle-loo!

I'll take things I could have lived with not knowing for $1000 Alex.

Where has the time gone? I can't believe Thanksgiving is already next week. Guess that means I need to get grocery shopping. Of course, I also need to know which foods I'm being assigned to make first.

Currently eating dinner under the very watchful eye of the pup. There is no such thing as a 5 second rule in my house.

Aaaaand I just lost a crouton. Pup is very happy.
