Stars I hope you can get some relief soon

Had vivid dreams again last night.  Similar to last night.  Since I don't remember most of my dreams, I wonder what this one was trying to tell me...

Trip to the drivers license office was a bust.  Spoke with an employee once I got in thr lot, found out they only do titles Tues to Thurs.  Was glad they told me as the line was incredibly long.  Think I'm going to manage this by mail and hope the title doesn't get lost

Rest of the day was fairly quiet.  Exercised, ran a few errands, watched The Big Lebowski.  Stayed in due to rain and thunderstorms

Today hopefully will not be crazy at work.  Glad it's Tuesday

One of the political groups has an online meeting tonight.  Had one Saturday but completely forgot about it

Cooler today, in the 70s

Good morning!

Joe sorry the title situation was a bust.  I got mine in the mail without issue.

Haven't been sleeping too well lately.  Waking up early and having trouble going back to sleep.   Woke up around 5:15 AM today and couldn't sleep. It was about 5 1/2 hours sleep and am now tired.  Signed up for a yoga class at 10:30 and might be meeting best friend for lunch after.  He has a CT scan of his foot today.

Another 3,000 positive covid cases here in Florida, with "only" 12 deaths yesterday.  A mask order goes into effect Thursday "where social distancing isn't possible" which kind of leaves open the question of the yoga class.  Guess I'll find out today.  Apparently testing centers here in my area are overwhelmed.  One had to close because traffic was out in the street and around the block.  They'll reopen somewhere else.  The good news is they are saying there are plenty of test kits.  People are waiting over 2 hours to get testing, sitting on hold for a long time schedule an appointment to be tested.  It's a mess.  They only test the symptomatic and exposed, not on demand.

Crazy times.  I think my Covid-anxiety that I had back in March is creeping back in.  Not really because I'm fearful for myself, but what I'm seeing around me, particularly the stupidity.  I follow the mayor on social media and the comments he gets from people are ridiculous.

Morning-

Still hot and humid here.  Poppy is learning to climb the curtains, which I will have to nip in the bud.  She and Niko are getting along pretty well.  He likes to go in "her" room and eat the kitten food.

I'm still working from home 3 days a week.  I think it will stay this way as long as insurance companies will reimburse for telemedicine visits.  I like it.

Covid cases continue to decline in my state.  I think some people are assuming it's gone and won't come back, and are being careless.  We are re-opening slowly.  I think our governor has done a great job handling this whole mess.

Joe-Sorry that you couldn't get the title.  I hope you can do it on line.  I think the department of Motor Vehicles is the 9th circle of Hell.

Tweety-I feel badly for BFF.  I hope they can figure out what's going on with his foot.  I think a mask order is a good idea.  It's mandatory in MA, and our Covid cases have dropped dramatically.   Gyms aren't open yet for indoor exercise, but many are holding classes outdoors with small numbers and proper distancing.  Oy, I don't think this is going away any time soon.

Steph-It was nice to hear from you.  I can't believe Spidey graduated!! How time flies! Is he going away to college, or will he be commuting from home?

Hi to Ted, Dianah, Amo, Herring, Rose, NSIME, and anyone else who stops by.  Please take care and be safe.

Going to the DMV here too. Husband passed the written test and had an appointment for the behind-the wheel test. It was cancelled due to COVID-19. We got an extension till October, but his eye exam expires the end of July. I we can't get an appointment before then he has to go back to the eye doctor.

Nice June Gloom here. I prefer if not so hot.

I got my car title in the mail this morning. Private businesses are able to sell car tabs and do title transfers, so that is where I usually go. They collect a minimal fee ($2 I think) per transaction. The Department of Licensing office , where we go to renew drivers licenses has only recently reopened.

I just came back from a blood draw and a jog/walk. I needed a creatinine level for my CT angiogram of my arm on Friday. Very few people at the park. I saw a cedar waxwing sitting in the willows by the pond. Further down the trail I saw a garter snake sunning itself. And lots of cottontails hippety-hopping in and out of the bushes.

I broke down and bought some work clothes on line. The outlet mall I usually go to still hasn't opened. I think they are waiting until the Canadians can come to shop. Not much else planned except trivia tonight.
