Good Morning to you all,

Hope you are all doing well this day?

Very busy day for me yesterday, ended up doing 8 visits with an emergent visit tossed in. Patient in severe Superior Vena Cava Syndrome and hemoptysis. Got that patient transported to our hospice home and I also followed to get the patient settled in.

Was sure happy to hit the hay last night I have to say!

Looking at a better day today although my visits will be limited to 3 due to our IDG meeting this afternoon. Enjoy this time when we all get together.

Very worried about hubby as he flipped in to AFib on Sunday and yesterday although this morning he is in SR and feeling better. Was rather hypotensive on Sunday so pushed fluids and he felt some better. I am hoping when he sees the Cardiologist this morning the toss on a holter monitor to catch what is going on. He has been doing so well following the last PVI.

Praying all works out for him as this man has had so many procedures on his heart and it just needs to stay in SR from now on. LOL

Much love and hugs to you all this day.

Sabby, hope Joey's SR continues. I used to have AF but have been all good for some years.

I am off home tomorrow, after getting up close and rather personal with sharks today.

Went to Underwater world. Awesome.

Best wishes to Joey and you.

M

Sabby I hope Joey stays in SR

Morning Michael

Decent day yesterday, not too crazy, got everything done, even got a short (20 minute) break. Glad that the stress level remained low. Going to look more at what I do during a day/week and cut back on unnecessary stuff. I like to be thorough but the workload recently won't allow it, so I'll focus on what's necessary.

Did some housecleaning yesterday, dropped by the used bookstore to see back some books and pick up some more. Was a fairly humid day but not too warm.

Today should be the same weather-wise. Feeling a little odd this morning, not sure why. Going to do the laundry tonight and also the vacuuming.

Good Morning, all!

Slept a little later this morning (good) but had a rather disturbing dream before I woke up (ugh). However, since I have figured out some of the symbology of the salient figures and activities, I feel slightly better. Hope to shake off the lingering unpleasantness of it as the day goes on.

Boy dog is doing .....okay....on the Trazadone.....sort of. We haven't had any thunderstorms yet to see if it will REALLY work well, but today will be the true test, as t-storms are in the forecast. I don't like the way the med has changed his overall affect; he is kind of mopey and lacks his spark, is not particularly enthusiastic about eating (though he does eat), and has a bit more crabbiness and small amount of drooling. Vet says these s/s should pass with time. We are not convinced this is the better solution, and as soon as the original prescription (Xanax) can be refilled we are thinking of switching him back. However, that won't be until July 12th, and we still have July 4th to get through, with all the fire-crackers and fireworks.

Time to get dressed and then off to the groomers!

Y'all have a good day!

Good morning. Off call and no calls overnight.

Today I'm catching up on bill paying. And maybe some housework although I did do the "company clean" last week and I'm a bit of a perfectionist about that. ;)

Hope you all have a great day. I like the IDT meetings too Sabby. Ours is tomorrow.

:wavey:

Good morning Sabby, Michael, Joe, NSIME, Steph, and thos wo follow.

I wish I had something for our Pearlie dog. People are already setting off fireworks. One loud sound and she runs and barks herself silly.

I've already planned to have her in the house on the 4th.

The meeting yesterday was good. I like the nurse manager. The young nurses took turns presenting their ideas. She listened. All except me and the HR lady were coming up with ideas and asking good questions. I don't think anyone cared whether i had on makeup or how I wore my hair.

Yesterday evening I did more digging and placing bricks for the "patio". My tee shirt was again soaking wet, but I could work much longer in the afternoon shade. We will have much less dust.

Starting this fall i plan to have a real vegetable garden. For recent years I've just planted a few tomato and pepper plants. I plan cabbage, Brussels sprouts, and turnip, mustard, and collard greens. Since I'm working less I'll have more time to cook them just when they are ready.

Then in late February I'll start a summer garden. At least that is the plan.

I forgot to mention I hope Joey stays in SR as well Sabby! Gosh darn temperamental heart!

Our dogs are barking and running around right now. They bark at people walking by and they bark at the cars and they especially bark and kind of "talk" when that noon whistle goes off at the fire department just down the street.

They bark at the gunshots they hear over by the lake when people are duck hunting. They bark at fireworks.

I'm not getting why I should give them tranquilizers for just being dogs. :bag:

Sort of like when kids naturally bounce around the classroom in Kindergarten people automatically say they have ADHD and we must drug them into submission. (insert evil laugh).:sneaky:

I'm sincerely not criticizing anyone here - I guess I don't understand, that's all.

I love a barking dog . . . .keeps the bad guys out of our yard.

Good day all.

I have not been very productive today. Some wash, baked the last of the cookie dough and visited my neighbor. Took her lunch of chicken on pita with tzatziki sauce, heavy on cukes and tomatoes, and watermelon. Favorite summer foods. I watched some good soccer and am now ready to take a nap. I still have so much to go through but everyone I know has boes never unpacked so i guess another day won't hurt.

Sister of my friend wants a private stash of cookies. My response was that she should come over an we can make them together. It will be fun. She is like a sister to me. Apparently the cookies were well received.

I don't object too much to my dog barking. She goes wild when someone comes to the door. Good thing. She is quiet during storms, just does not like them, and she runs from the vacuum. Glad she does not bark for all of these.

Nap time.

Enjoy the rest of the day.

Care and Share.

I like dogs to be dogs, too. Mine think they are the 'neighborhood watch' and I like that.

Boy-dog is on meds because he had a major noise trauma as a pup, when a jet flew 3 passes overhead at tree-top level. So, essentially he has PTSD. Ever since, planes, helicopters, thunder and lightening, bangs, clangs, pops, roars, etc. make him jitter so hard he can hardly stand up and you can see and hear his teeth chatter. Before he will eat he has to stand a listen and look out the windows and doors to make sure there is no flashing or rumbling. If there is, he won't eat. If he didn't get SOMETHING he would be way back in the corner under the bed a great deal of the time. The tranqs allow him to be a dog instead of a quivering mass of fur. They don't subdue his nature, they just put the 'triggers' way back on his list of OMG issues.

Thanks for the explanation.

I wonder how our hunting dogs live through hearing gunshots all the time? We start them as puppies.

Every animal doesn't react the same though - they aren't "Stepford Dogs"! ;)

Knee-deep in organizing and paying bills. Sipping sun tea as I go. Checking in here occasionally.

Spidey wanted egg salad sandwich for lunch so I boiled a dozen eggs since we got a dozen last night from a local rancher. He's probably going to ask for seconds. I've got a lot of egg salad. Anyone want a sandwich!?
