You are reading page 20 of Trump is Racist? I Don't Think So. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

And here is one of the big problems with many on the left/liberal side. They have convinced themselves that they are correct in their views and do not find it important to have any discussion, they just want to scream, protest and , "shut is down", or better yet "never open" to begin with. And yes I know and agree that it is your right to protest but maybe other things are more helpful.

What Is a Discussion?

A discussion is understood as an activity of sitting and talking about a specific subject. The word 'discuss' has been ...

What is a Group Discussion?

I am not certain why you thought that this group of professionals needed your lecture on discussion.

You literally refuse to answer questions about your own beliefs while criticizing the supporting evidence of people who willingly share their beliefs and thoughts with you.

Meanwhile, the entire topic is about a Trump apologist's opinion, and he has clearly stated that the opinion is not going to change. What is the point of engaging? Just to stroke the ego of the OP.

In my view, if your opinion is not influenced by the facts then you should ask what is it that is influencing the formation of your opinions? If you believe that racism isn't a problem but 8 of 10 blacks say that it is, why do you assume that they are wrong?

But the bottom line is that this country has long enjoyed the support of white people when people of color have been abused and mistreated. There is a reason that native American languages are nearly dead, thank the white immigrants.

No true offense to y'all . . . I've known you here for years. But I stopped posting on the political threads and took a break from AN altogether because there simply isn't a lot of respect or room for disagreements here. And that's the crux of what is spearheading #WalkAway

I stopped posting as well for probably over a year due to the lions den I encountered when I stated some conservative views. Most here are not only Trump haters they're conservative haters. No reason to make is sound pretty.

really?

It ought to be pretty easy for you to show us exactly the hate you are referencing. Please feel free to provide examples of liberals throwing hate at conservatives.

I'll wait.

What seems more likely is that we are hearing from conservatives who are not accustomed to our comfortable with having their conservative ideology questioned or countered. That equates to hate in the crowd that tolerates "lock her up" as a rally cry.

WalkAway is a Russian disinformation front and many of those profiles are fake, as well as the pictures taken from stock photos.

Pro-Trump & Russian-Linked Twitter Accounts Are Posing As Ex-Democrats In New Astroturfed Movement

*Most of the tweets were strikingly similar, and the vast majority pushed a very familiar narrative. Using the hashtag #WalkAway and claiming to be former Democrats, social media users shared their stories of leaving the Democratic party after being turned off by the "hate" and "division" of "the left." Many of them cited the incidents involving Sanders and Waters as examples of the "intolerance" and "bullying" that supposedly drove them to support Trump after years-in some cases, decades-of voting for Democrats.

*If this sounds familiar, there's good reason for that-it very much echoes the "civility" debate playing out right now among the Very Important Thinkers and on the opinion pages of the Very Serious Newspapers. The basic narrative is one that we've heard countless times before, but this time it's being exploited by a new cast of characters, and, at least in some cases, with the intent to deceive.

The primary functional goal of an astroturfed campaign like this one is to manipulate public opinion by gaming online algorithms to amplify certain content and push it onto people's social media feeds and to the top of search engine results.

Oh my gosh . . . that is simply untrue.

New website up.

Sometimes I think we don't venture out beyond our own mindset to see another person's point of view.

Honestly, take a deep breath folks and for those who think we more conservative members are full of it, go take a look at the testimonials from people from all walks of life who are fed up with the far-left that has taken over the Democratic Party.

You guys are not 100% always right. We on the other side might have a small point to make. And yet, it is very hard to do so here.

I watched a small portion of the video link you posted. Alas, I could watch no more.

Far left? I believe you would include me in that group, even though I consider myself pretty mainstream.

But I will gladly take up the mantle of the far left, if it means I am an honest person, and call out hypocrisy, racism, sexism, etc.

While I have great respect for Michelle Obama, I do have problems with her, 'when they go low, we go high' philosophy. It has given us Trump.

There is ample evidence that Trump is racist. There is no need to pretend that that isn't true, or to treat all opinions on the matter as equal.

The first mistake many in the GOP made when Trump started with his name-calling and outrageous behavior, was to behave politely towards it, and hope it would go away. It didn't. Instead, the behavior has become normal.

I keep in mind that during the civil rights era, many thought MLK was out of line. So I am in good company.

I find it highly amusing that some on the right, calling for more civility by those on left forget their own history.

Hopefully, I am not the only person on this thread who remembers quite clearly, not all that long ago when MDs, who provided abortion services, were murdered and threatened daily by those on the right.

And Roe v Wade is the law of the land, folks. Abortion is LEGAL.

Anybody recall a huge outcry from the right calling for civility on their side?

I sure don't.

Oh, the hypocrisy.

HAHAHAH I KNEW IT! All I did was play a game. The rules of the game are:

1. Pretend like you are a Trump race baiter

2. Use the parameters outlined by the thread posters to create your own definition of racism

3. Go after name calling and label it as racism.

And look what has happened.

The thread has erupted into claims of "that is ridiculous", "you can't be serious", "that's not racism", "it's just a nickname", etc etc.

Guess what? You all fell for it. Now you all see things from my perspective and how ridiculous your racism claims really are. It only took 19 pages, and a little creativity, but hot damn, it worked like a charm! :)

I would like to take this opportunity to say thank you to Macawake for having a good sense of humor, I personally laughed the rest of the day after coming up with "Cocoa Castro" and I think it should be a thing.

I'm not offended by Orange Mussolini. I think it's weak and lacks creativity. How about Orange "Juice" Trump? Or Don Orange Juliius? Oh wait, Donoritos Cheetos? It's a stretch but it's f___ing hilarious! Get creative people. Call him the Mandarin Don for all I care, I didn't vote for him. LOL

You all got punked, and proved my point of this entire thread. Name-calling by itself is not racism, neither are using nicknames, and now you can see how ridiculous your unfounded claims really are.

Thank you, thank you very much! You've been a great crowd, I'll be here all week. Thanks for playing! Peace out!

That link didn't work for me.

Are these tweets verifiable, or are they unknown people with unknown agendas? We are well aware that bots, fake accounts, and paid trolls have been seeking to muddy our political and social norms through Twitter, FB, and YouTube, yet conservatives flock to these type pages, eager to accept and believe.

we actually know that some long term Republicans have stepped, verifiably and publicly, away from their party. That seems to have inspired this counter narrative. While no liberal would have trouble accepting that other liberals might be disgruntled with the inability of current leadership to effectively address the current corruption and authoritarian policy, it's simply unbelievable as presented in a time when Russia is actively engaged in propaganda to affect our thinking and voting.

I'm much too skeptical to believe the breathless claims that liberals are running from the very ideology that would counter Trump's divisive and tribal messaging.

I'll see your disgruntled liberal who was offended while shopping and raise you a conservative campaign manager and journalist, author.

Lord what absurdity. Yea Russia made 63+ millions vote for Trump. Hugest eye roll ever.

...Waiting for Wittle Nel and Baloney's big girl panties responses.
