Prayers and hugs continue, Sweetie. With dog sleep is much more restful. It's a well known scientific fact!

Things are not going well. They thought he would not make it this am. Now holding on with many drips and full vent. The chaplain stopped by and I received communion as all prayed for SO. He would hate all the machines. We all agreed that he would not suffer chest compressions if the end comes.

I am heading back to hold his hand. This morning he held it even when he was so ill. He is in God's hands.

Oh AKY I am so saddened to read this news this morning I was so praying for an improvement, only God knows what is best but I am still pray so hard that he turns around and improves. Lord please if it is your will, wrap your arms around Jim and enable the doctors to make the right decisions so signs of improvement will be seen, and give AKY a tender hug from us all. We lay our trust at your feet Lord and leave all up to you the Master Healer and the ever omnipotent God.

AKY, thinking of you...

One minute, one hour, one day at a time. Do just what needs doing, no more no less.

You are one of the most mindful people I've come to know.

Keep those prayers coming in.
I'll be keeping my fingers crossed and saying a silent prayer for you, your SO, his family, and everyone who cares about him. I'm truly, truly hoping for the optimal outcome in this situation. We are all standing behind you in mind, body and spirit.

MICU has done everything possible. They did CT scans today and except for the strokes and staph filled lungs everything else is good. They are now placing him prone. They told us that it could cause a cardiac arrest. His heart is strong. When I left today he looked more comf. than in many days on his stomach.

We are only keeping him by vent and 4 pressors. Is he really alive? God knows. I do not expect a positive outcome. My friends help out so much. Each has a specific slot they fill. Each one of you do also. There are no thank yous big enough to tell you how much you all mean to me.

I am eating as much as I can. I sleep in patches and I know I don't drink enough to replace the fluids I cry, let alone all my needs. I do try. It just sticks going down.

Jim passed away about 8 pm. He had a peaceful death with his son, DIL and me at his side. Although I feel sad, I am comforted by the fact that he is not suffering.

Thank you to all who have shared love, caring, prayers and good thoughts.

I love you, AKY. Your struggles and his have touched my heart, and I almost feel as though I knew him. I am so very sorry for your loss, even though I believe he is smiling on you from above, happy and healthy once more. Please hold onto our virtual hands, and know that your AN family is here to love and comfort you.

Eternal rest grant unto him, O Lord, and let perpetual light shine upon him. May he rest in peace. Amen.

I'm very sorry for the loss of Jim. It is a comfort that he was surrounded by those who loved him and it was peaceful and painfree. You've been in my thoughts off and on today. Thank you for letting us all know.

If there are specific things you need from us, let us know that as well.

Oh AKY this is so sad and my heart is breaking for you.

I am at a loss for words may you find some comfort that all was done for Jim and only God knows why he needed him more.

May you take a little of our love and comfort as you work through the next few minutes, hours and days.

I am thankful you were there with him to let him know he was loved.

Peace and comfort I send to you this day.

Please look after yourself my friend.
