Good morning!

That's good news Amo about the vaccine.   Best friend is getting his 2nd shot on Friday.  More and more people are able to get it but it's been a long frustrating wait for many of them.

We had another 6,000 cases yesterday.  I hope Texas and Mississippi will be okay after reopening.  We reopened the same way in May and it was disastrous.  People can't be counted on to make sense.

I had a friend that made a group of six of us leave a restaurant once because they served cilantro. It was Indian food.   I've long known about cilantro giving people a genetic disposition to think it tastes like soap but that was over the top annoying.

Morning-

I love cilantro.  Both of my sisters think it tastes like soap.

Not much going on here.  Today is my Friday.  Tomorrow I have a hair appointment and Niko goes to the vet for his checkup.

My state is down below 1,000 cases a day now.  Some restrictions are being lifted, but there's still a mask mandate.  I hope things don't get worse in Texas, but that's wishful thinking.

Hope all have a good day.

Morning Tweety and BC.  I also like cilantro

Ted hope someday you get to work with a real orchestra

Stars you're right, there have been a bunch of people who have come and gone

NJ22 glad you're sticking with your schedule

Amo glad to hear you may get the vaccine soon

Work was quiet in the morning, then unexpectedly crazy in the afternoon.  Had to push stuff to other days and work as fast as possible to get done on time.  Was kinda stressful.  Hoping today is easier

Temperatures were in the upper 50s so I went for a long walk last night instead of using the exercise bike.  Had our online Lenten educational program instead of the usual soup suppers, went well, fewer technical issues this time

Annual review today at work, I already know it will be good

Temps will be steady in the 40s

Happy Birthday to me! Happy Birthday to me!

Just finished my tea in my birthday coffee mug. Gave my vax interest form to my Meals-on-Wheels driver.

Very innovative approach to reach out to a select needy population. And MOW would know. I had to be interviewed for program acceptance and meet certain criteria. I'm sure there's others like me in need of home visit for services. Like my PMP does house calls and she brought my flu vax for injection.

This vax opp'ty is like the BEST-EST birthday present!

Dare I say, it's a "q" day around here?  My very nice, OCD co-worker is much calmer than yesterday. She was all twitter-pated yesterday because she met a client for a video appointment with a specialist with the usual technology fail. It seems that in the end it all worked out, but I had to hear the whole story in excruciating detail, about 3 times. I feel like in this day and age we just come to expect that whatever can go wrong, will. Nice day after all. But rain showers are always lurking.

I've been trying to plan our trip to Yellowstone this summer and am getting so frustrated. I had hoped to rent an RV near there for camping, but the cost is ridiculous, but if we rent one locally for cheaper, they all charge mileage, and that seems pricey as well. I would never have made it as a travel agent, that's for sure.

Joe, I am sure your review will be excellent. Sorry you are feeling stressed.

BCg, our rates are finally going down, but there are variants in the community, so who knows what to expect. Our state case rate yesterday was 677. The governor is making an announcement today, but I don't foresee any change in restrictions.

Happy Birthday Amo! I wish my 82 yo MIL could get a vaccine. She's not homebound, but she won't go to an inside clinic, so she is waiting for a drive-up vax clinic. I suppose I will need to start lurking on line to get here set up.

Smooth sailing, all.

Shopped for groceries.

Talked on the phone w/ a woman I worked with -- something like 40 years ago -- when I lived in Nashville. I'm not much of a 'phone' person/talker, but we talked for a little over an HOUR, and laughed and laughed. It was fun, and I needed that!

However, I am kind of exhausted and believe it or not -- better sit down for this one -- I can't think of anything to say/post!!!

Tawk whichoos Tomorry, y'all !
