Good Morning -

Wow! It's hard to believe that today is the last day in April! Despite the "Stay-at-Home" & "Social Distancing" stuff, time continues to march forward, faster and faster.

Currently, it's 5:29 AM (EST) in this part of the world. I've been up since around 4:00 AM. Still have about 1/3 cup of First Coffee to drink. It's so delicious. Spent most of the past 1 1/2 hours paying bills on-line, and emailing to two individuals, both of whom own and operate Dancing Schools. Before Covid-19, I was scheduled to video-record dance recitals for each of the dance school during the month of May. Understandably, both dance recitals have been cancelled. These two individuals are in the process of re-scheduling their dance recitals for either the summer time or early fall. Understand that these are two separate Dancing Schools. The two individuals USED to own and operating just one Dancing School, together, but have since parted ways. (Apparently, it was a somewhat tense break-up.) Both asked if I could send them available weekends to video-record. Both said that this might help them determine when to reschedule their dance recitals. So, I emailed my available weekends to each of them. My fear is that both will pick the same week-end!! Can't be in two places at once! These are paying gigs, by the way. I really, really hope they don't pick the same weekend!!

Weather-wise, it's raining outside with lots of wind howling. This makes for a perfect day to stay indoors and do stuff. . .

Speaking of doing stuff. . . Our dedicated video-recording room is all painted. Amy finished it last night. We were both too tired to clean up the room, and get it ready for video-recording. So, today, we're cleaning up all of the painting stuff, set up the lights and camera, and maybe even make our first video. Amy has some fun and silly ideas for the first video shoot.

I'm working Friday and Saturday nights. If being On Call is offered for either of those two nights, I will take up the offer.

Hope all have a pleasant day, today. Peace! 🙂

Ted

Morning Ted

Sleep was meh last night, woke up with a fairly mild migraine.  Took some pills and slept on and off the rest of the night

Work was fine, bit slow actually, with an unnecessary meeting,  Was fairly tired by the end of the day in spite of not having worked hard, probably a sign of the impending migraine

Got exercise done after work as well as grocery shopping.  The checkout line was pretty long at Trader Joe's  but it did move quickly.  Rained all day

Tonight the rain should stop, so I can go for a walk.  One of the political groups I'm part of is having an online debate I'm going to watch

Weather has been rainy and in the 50s.  Will be warmer in coming days with less rain

Ted, hopefully the two Dance Studios will give you their first choice for weekends, and then two alternate choices.  That might give you some wiggle room.

And I am off to work soon.

Have a good day!

Good afternoon.

Hope everyone ones a great day.

Were still Covid free but one hospital has 20 positives and nursing g homes are still problematic.  We may get some from there.  Although the general population seems in excellent shape.

Having a busy day today as always.  Bleh.

Hey, you'n's!

It was wild and windy last night. Then the rain POURED down, I'm talking, it rained with serious intent. I turned my light out earlier than usual, planned on just laying there and enjoy listening to the rain. I think I was out like a light within 30 seconds! Talk about your soporific sounds!

Did the routines this AM: bank, post office, pharmacy and grocery store. I should go ahead and start some laundry, too, but then ...what would I do tomorrow?

I wonder what is sooooooo fascinating to Nannie about her fingers? She doesn't read or do puzzles or watch TV during the day, instead she looks out the window some, and while doing so, often thinks inanimate things are animate; and she inspects her fingers and nails closely and thoroughly a-a-a-l-l-l-l-l the time.

Well, I'm in a funk; bored and overwhelmed at the same time.

Hello all!  Home from work.  It's been 85 degrees during the day, will get back up to 95 by Tuesday next week.  I picked up some Jersey Mike's subs for dinner (and enough for at least one more, possibly two dinners).  They were yummy!  Dh likes turkey and provolone on white bread w/avocado.  I got a small tuna salad and a small veggie one, both on rosemary bread.  And we watched a Poirot.  Yes, we have seen the whole 13 series before, just thought we would start it again!  We finished Miss Fisher's Murder Mysteries (only three seasons).

I am trying to keep busy after work, practicing a little bit of guitar, and doing some small household chores and have been organizing an exercise routine.  Haven't yet got into the routine of exercise (seems difficult to do, with the recent sewing project).  I don't have as much energy as I used to, more's the pity.  But I keep trying.  Knowing y'all take your walks and bike rides and exercise, well, that's encouraging to me!  Keep it up!

Not much else new here.  Work is work.  I am hearing we may start doing some elective cases here soon, will believe it when it happens.

Y'all have a good evening!
