I've asked myself the same question and the answer is the economy, the economy and the economy.  Low unemployment,  tax cuts, cutting regulations, working on eliminating Obamacare such as the mandate, trade deals, building his wall and getting tough on illegal immigrants....all things they voted on him to do he's been doing, or at least trying to do.

Obviously if one was against the Republican conservative agenda he has been harmful rather than effective.

Statistical trends are often misinterpreted, skewed, or fail altogether to factor in important variables that play pivotal roles in depicting the country's true economic picture.  Sadly, the lived reality for many Americans does not reflect such a 'rosy' picture of financial security and millions are left behind, struggling to just live hand to mouth.  Trump's economic policies, by and large, have not been favorable for the middle class.  Even if our economy was as robust as the Trump cult believes, with all of the environmental depredations, what will be left of the earth for future generations?

Of course, more of them are working.

Anyway, what policies would you like to see implemented by a Democrat president that would favor the middle class?

My reaction to the last part of your post is to suggest that Trumpsters believe "they" will somehow be immune to the effects of pollution and climate change.

It is as though they think they can wall themselves off from water and food shortages and polluted air.

Of course, rational people know that isn't possible.

But since when are Cultists rational?

The federal government is now looking into paying hospitals to care for indigent patients with coronavirus.

That wouldn't be necessary if this country provided healthcare for all.

I am hoping that a legacy of coronavirus will be healthcare for all and proper funding for state and local health departments.

And of, CDC and NIH.

Actually, the govt would then be paying for everyone.  Not just the indigent.

Yes.

Exactly.

And that would be a good thing.

Ensuring that everybody has access to healthcare is the best way to protect public health.

The man has been a successful president for four years and if the election was held today would be getting another term.  Who cares abiut his grades from 50 years ago.

By his own defined criteria for what would constitute a "successful" presidency he's fallen short, I'm not sure what you're basing that on.

After 2016, I think democrats are justifiably leery about touting their lead, but since I don't really care much either way at this point I'm not afraid of jinxing anything, if the election were held today it's unlikely Trump would win, aside from trailing all candidates (and now former candidates) in popular vote polling, they also have a fairly solid 183 electoral votes compared to Trump's 125, and far more likely ways of getting to 270 than Trump.

Thanks to that socialist Ronald Reagan, Indigent requiring treatment for coronavirus is already legally mandated and paid for by the government, so I'm not sure what Nel is referring to.

Its not going to be Bernie.  And unless Biden wins the nomination outright, The Bern Bros are going to stay home.  The poll isn't taking that into account.

And, let's not forget Trump's history is to polls lower them what people actually do, and it's the EC that counts.  Not there popular vote.

I am referring to stories in WaPo, of folks evacuated from China, who are receiving bills for care received while quarantined.

I will find stories and post headlines.

I am not referring to ED care.

Sorry.

It was NY Times, not WaPo.

Here is the headline, as I can't link.
