I will agree that Trump did not call the corona virus a hoax.  He said the Democrats are using it as an attempt to politicize it and use it against him just like they did with their hoaxes in the Russia scandals and the impeachment trials.  This is their "New Hoax".

All the people tweeting and saying he said corona virus is a hoax are twisting it.

Like I said above it's interesting how he's politicizing it while accusing the Democrats of politicizing it.

I would say the argument can be made that it's being politicized by the Democrats.  We saw the same thing when Republicans politicized Ebola and used Obama's response against him saying he was downplaying it and not doing enough.

I do think this really shows what a poor speaker Trump is and what a narcissist he is in that instead of being uniting and instilling confidence in the public, he's making it about himself.

Meanwhile the United States reported their first death.  On behalf of the White House Pence expressed condolences.

Let me ask you this, Tweety, why would any POTUS even use the word "hoax" in the same sentence as coronavirus?

Or even in the same paragraph as coronavirus?

It is language befitting a moron.

It makes it appear as though the US should be considered a joke.

Such language, harms our nation.

I will waste no time defending Trump's moronic remarks.

Like I said, Trump is a really poor speaker.

Medal winning Limbaugh said it much better and called it a weapon rather than a hoax:   "It looks like the coronavirus is being weaponized as yet another element to bring down Donald Trump, Yeah, I'm dead right on this. The coronavirus is the common cold, folks."

Right.

You are parroting your leader.

I watched that part of the press conference, and heard his response.

Thank you for parroting it for me, and everybody else on this thread!

It wasn't at a press conference.

He was specifically asked the question at today's news conference.

He answered the question the same way you did.

Well, it is not a common cold.

And Limbaugh also said it was a Chinese plot.

The Russia, Russia, Russia touch made me laugh.

I read the quote, but hearing it, really gives you the Marcia, Marcia, Marcia vibe from the 70s show, The Brady Brunch.

Yep.

Jan was whinning when she said it, and Trump was whinning too.

I don't know what he meant by accusing the Media reporting facts and Democrats and some peoples concerns and fears about what may happen regarding a new disease that had already caused people to die.

Has he always told the truth to the American people? boy-wolf_zpsmubhdoh6.jpg

The media is not just reporting the facts, they are overhyping it all and exploring every angle they can to find ways to blame Trump for it.  And, all this and the virus has barely touched our shores thus far.

Limbaugh did not say that either.

Let me guess.... You were listening to the Rush Limbaugh show?

Overhyped Coronavirus Weaponized Against Trump

RUSH: Folks, this coronavirus thing, I want to try to put this in perspective for you. It looks like the coronavirus is being weaponized as yet another element to bring down Donald Trump. Now, I want to tell you the truth about the coronavirus. (interruption) You think I’m wrong about this? You think I’m missing it by saying that’s… (interruption)

Yeah, I’m dead right on this. The coronavirus is the common cold, folks.

The Drive-By Media hype of this thing as a pandemic, as the Andromeda strain, as, “Oh, my God, if you get it, you’re dead.” Do you know what the — I think the survival rate is 98%. Ninety-eight percent of people get the coronavirus survive. It’s a respiratory system virus.

It probably is a ChiCom laboratory experiment that is in the process of being weaponized.

All superpower nations weaponize bioweapons. They experiment with them. The Russians, for example, have weaponized fentanyl. Now, fentanyl is also not what it is represented to be.

Who is at fault when there actually are multiple ways that the Trump administration has mishandled American pandemic response and those are discussed by media? It sounds like you believe that if the media discovers unusual or unhelpful decisions during their investigative reporting, they should keep quiet about it lest they be accused of hyping or over hyping by the Liar or his propagandists.
