I'm still going to try to attempt the high road and can't condone things like the congressman who flipped him the bird, or the naked effigy.

That said, I just love Spearker Pelosi's actions.  Classic.

I have ZERO to the tenth degree respect for anyone that supports Trump but is calling her out as disrespectful.  They can tolerate him but not her?  Sorry, that's the hieght of hypocrisy.

Actor Mox von Essen said it best in a Tweet.

Love the Tweet, Tweety!

Trump gave Medal of Freedom to Rush Limbaugh.

The award is now meaningless.

I get that Limbaugh is terminally ill with lung cancer, after denying a link between smoking and the disease, but really, he is completely undeserving.

Spreading hate, lies and conspiracy theories shouldn't get anybody a Medal of Freedom.

This act was a new low for our country.  To give this racist, misogynist, homophobe, lying, Republican tool (Rush Limbaugh) the Congressional Medal of Honor, should be a personal affront and moral outrage for every American-unbelievable.  And then there's his handling of Eddie Gallagher, the Navy Seal  officer responsible for numerous war crimes, some on innocent noncombatants.  Next, he'll be giving some posthumous award to Josef Mengele.

It wouldn't surprise me.

Trump is a Deplorable, held up by other Deplorables.

These people make me ashamed to be an American, for fear I be judged by their actions.

Remember when Republican then governor of Wisconsin Scott Walker had a recall vote and he barely won.  He made a great speech of moving on, putting it aside and attempted to reunite the state in common goals.

Sure would have been nice had Trump did that after his acquittal.  Instead we got Trump.  Rallying against his enemies, suggesting Romney be banished.  Reporter Chris Matthews pointing out the word "banish" is used in cults not a constitutional party.

And so it goes.

And he used the National Prayer Breakfast as his launching pad for such vile comments.

His comments regarding Mitt Romney's faith, should have made every attendee vomit.

Hopefully, Trump insulted enough Mormons with his vile assertions, that the State will help kick him to the gutter in 2020, where he belongs!

And on and on and on it went. Trump attacking opponents. Trump belittling members of his own party. Trump outright lying about what he has done (and hasn't) as President.

It was Trump on steroids. Trump unbound. Trump giving no, well, you know.

All of which was frankly incredible to watch. But the worst part of it all had nothing to do with Trump. Instead, it was the audience who egged him on, laughed at his jokes and applauded his appalling lack of human decency.

It felt like watching a bully beat up a helpless kid. Sure, the bully is to blame. But the crowd of people surrounding the beating and either cheering or doing nothing at all are far worse.

Trump is Trump. While he stepped beyond where has gone before in many respects during Thursday's "celebration," it hard to say that no one saw this coming.

I've said this before and am probably bothered by this almost as I am by Trump himself if not more.  It's that he has such widespread support that truly bothers me and really sends me to a dark place sometimes.

Trump truly again missed a great opportunity to move on past the conspiracy theories and try to put it behind him, as a lot of us on the left want to do.  Not that I expected him to be Presidential whatsoever, but it would have been nice to see an inkling of humility and maturity.

What is truly worrisome, Tweety, is that those egging him on in the crowd, are so-called Christians, at a prayer breakfast.

Maybe we should label these folks CINO.

Christians supported Hitler, too...and Mussolini.

He's so very predictable at this point.

I'm sure that White House witnesses understand that telling their version of the truth and being upstanding people would result in their being escorted out.  Good for them for having the courage to speak up anyway.

The purge of impeachment witnesses has begun.

Within hours of each other, President Donald Trump and the White House removed two of the most crucial witnesses against the president in the investigation that led to his impeachment for abuse of power.

From someone that says he doesn't like Fake News, he sure enjoys spreading it.

Facebook and Twitter have refused to take down a video posted by President Donald Trump that was edited to make it appear that House Speaker Nancy Pelosi ripped up his speech when the president was saluting a Tuskegee airman during the State of the Union rather than at the end of his address.

Trump also made sure Lt Col. Vindman's brother was also fired from his government job, even though he didn't appear at the Impeachment Hearing.

I guess Trump is employing Israeli style of justice; punish the whole family.

Of course, it isn't behavior fitting of a POTUS.

But then Trump was illegitimate three years ago, illegitimate yesterday, and will still be illegitimate tomorrow.
