Look out!

Trump is open to cutting Medicare, to help balance the federal budget that he wrecked.

Of course, he promised in 2016, not to cut Medicare.

But the NY Times and CNN reporting from Davos, says otherwise.

Some of Trump's comments are unintelligible, though, something about families "pulling in" $10,000.

I have no idea what he is babbling about.

Do you?

Trump probably heard that the average SS income was $16000 and he assumed that was monthly.

Check out article in today's WaPo, about Betsy DeVos comparing the right to choice, to SLAVERY.

Her remarks are distasteful on several levels.

Is anybody in Trump's orbit sane?

I don't think so.

I was flummoxed.

And she's in control of education.

Meanwhile, they would like to lower wages for Farm workers.

Again, if the Senate refuses to it's job, and insists on behaving like side show clowns, voters must act and vote the right-wing nuts OUT.

Or else embrace the lawless Banana Republic the US will be.

You know, I thought DJT would 've disastrous, but he worse than I could have imagined.

Her comments:

[...]

The education secretary said the abortion debate, which has raged in American politics for decades, reminded her of President Abraham Lincoln, who led the fight to preserve the United States and stamp out slavery in the South.

“He too contended with the ‘pro-choice’ arguments of his day,” she said, according to a copy of her remarks provided by the Education Department. “They suggested that a state’s ‘choice’ to be slave or to be free had no moral question in it.”

She said Lincoln “reminded those pro-choicers” that most Americans viewed slavery as a “vast moral evil.”

“Lincoln was right about slavery ‘choice’ then, and he would be right about the life ‘choice’ today,” she said. “Freedom is not about doing what we want. Freedom is about having the right to do what we ought.”

Thank you for posting, Chare.

Her comments are revolting.

Comparing a woman's right to control her own body, to the buying, selling and bondage of living human beings is deplorable.

Throwing President Lincoln in there makes me wonder if DeVos knows that Americans debated slavery long before Lincoln elected.

DONALD TRUMP SAID IT WOULD'VE BEEN 'TOUGHER' TO WIN IN 2016 IF CLINTON HAD PICKED BERNIE SANDERS AS VP: LEV PARNAS TAPE

resident Donald Trump expressed his belief that it would have been "tougher" to win against former Democratic presidential candidate Hillary Clinton in 2016 if she had picked Senator Bernie Sanders as her running mate, according to recordings of a conversation released by Lev Parnas' legal team.

The nearly 90-minute taped conversation, which reportedly took place at a private 2018 dinner attended by Parnas, an associate of Trump's personal lawyer Rudy Giuliani, was released by lawyers for Parnas...

PS: I have not yet decided for certain who I plan to vote for in the primary.

But remember, herring, Trump doesn't know Parnas. Trump has never met him.

It is all just a hoax, and just shows how badly Trump has been treated.

No human being on the face of the earth has ever been treated as badly as DJT.

It's a disgrace!

How is my Trump impression? Did I fool you?

I will vote for anybody in the primary who isn't Trump, and who can beat Trump.

At this point, the issues matter less to me than removing the blight that has infected the WH.

Since it looks like Senators will not do the right thing, it will be up to voters to remove the blight.

Gosh, it's like trying to remove rain rot from Checkers top line.

The bacteria is so stubborn, but you must tackle it every day!

VFW Expects Apology From POTUS

‘TBI is a serious injury and one that cannot be taken lightly’

"In light of today's announcement from the defense department that 34 U.S. service members suffered traumatic brain injuries as a result of Iran's retaliatory strike and President Trump's remarks which minimized these troops’ injuries, the Veterans of Foreign Wars cannot stand idle on this matter.

TBI is a serious injury and one that cannot be taken lightly. TBI is known to cause depression, memory loss, severe headaches, dizziness and fatigue — all injuries that come with both short- and long-term effects.

The VFW expects an apology from the president to our service men and women for his misguided remarks. And, we ask that he and the White House join with us in our efforts to educate Americans of the dangers TBI has on these heroes as they protect our great nation in these trying times. Our warriors require our full support more than ever in this challenging environment." — William “Doc” Schmitz, VFW National Commander

I saw this item, and frankly, the organization should demand an apology from Marsha Blackburn on behalf of Lt Col. Vindman, for her vile remarks.

It amazes me that anybody would still think Trump and Friends care at all about US troops.

It is painfully obvious that Trump and Friends don't give a crap about our veterans or troops.
