Anybody have any ideas as to why Trump is so insistent on sticking up for war criminals?

The Navy clearly doesn't want this one, yet Trump overruled officials.

From today's NY Post:

Top Navy Officials Threaten To Resign If Trump Keeps Disgraced SEAL Edward Gallagher

He wants people who are loyal to him.  People who will do what he says.

Nah, Tweety.

They are too busy parroting Russian propaganda.

Never mind the popcorn, I hope you have a big package of crackers, for all the Trumpster parrots.

That and the only thing they would say would be "but Clinton.....!"  or "It's Obama's fault......."

The seriousness of this cannot be over stressed.  This is a big step into authoritarian rule rather than rule of law.  It would appear that Republicans in Congress have no ethical boundaries.

I listened to report on NPR, on Israeli reaction to Netanyahu indictment.

Stunning.

His supporters sounded just like Trumpsters, even comparing his situation to Trump's, in that others are "out to get" their man.

Some excused Netanyahu's alleged illegal behavior, because "he keeps us safe," and "gets things done."

It is truly frightening to me, that a population, or subset of a population, is willing to overlook illegal behaviors for such narrow self-interests.

But just as Trump and Netanyahu parrot one another, so do their supporters!

Yikes.

And that is why so many true Patriots, such as Justin Amash, have Walked Away from the GOP.

No one with any sense of ethics or morals can be a part of such debauchery and look themselves in the mirror.

The extent to which Republicans are willing to carry water for Putin is amazing, and truly is treasonous.

Dr. Hill was very clear in her testimony, that Republicans are spreading Russian propaganda, and playing Putin's hand, for him.

Yet, the GOP continues to repeat Russian fables.

That is treason.
