You are right.

I do not hate blindly.

If I could honestly think, of ONE thing that Trump has done, that I consider good, I would give him credit.

But I can't think of anything.

As you well know, I think disparaging folks like the late John McCain, is deplorable.

I think blantant abuses of power, are deplorable.

I think unfettered corruption by Cabinet members is deplorable.

I think further polluting the air and water that Americans rely on, is deplorable.

I think giving winks and nods to White Nationalists, is deplorable.

Killing al Baghdadi, while denying Syrian refugees refuge, is deplorable, not to mention the unethical treatment of our Kurdish allies.

Giving me an extra $75, in my paycheck every two weeks, while starving the EPA and IRS and FDA, does not make me happy.

Yep.

Can't think of one good thing Trump has done.

Can you?

My first thought was, why does it matter if he has done a good thing? For me it doesn't matter.  Trump is a liar.  He has no ethical or moral compass.

If the CEO of the hospital gives the nurses a raise but also beats his wife or molests children, which should define him?

Completely agree, baloney.

And I hope my examples of just what Trump has "done," clearly demonstrate that lack of moral compass and unethical behavior.

It is near impossible to do anything that is good for the general public when one lacks a sense of ethics, isn't it?

And while most of us are focused on Trump's impeachable offenses, look at what is taking place at the State Department!

From today's WaPo:

State Dept's First-Ever Employee Christian Faith Group Underscores Mike Pompeo's Influence

Guess who makes up that faith group?

Yep.

Evangelicals!

Oh by no means was I talking about you.  You're opinions of him are based on being very well read and making informed decisions.  Plus you put actions to your words through your political activity.   I really admire you.

We have bumped heads about my dislike of how some people profanely express themselves but meh.

Trump isn't a genius.

Trump is a liar, an opportunist and propagandist who recognized that the GOP had created a cult with Fox news and right wing radio.  Trump simply took that cult under his wing and deepened the us v. them division that had already been built there.  He gave the devotees the leader that every cult needs.

As long as millions of Americans are unable to discern Trump's lies, corruption or crimes because of their media isolation and brainwashed thinking, our republic is at risk.  The percentage of our population poorly educated and naive enough to be this gullible when faced with obvious corruption and opportunistic dishonesty should never be as high as it is right now. We need to invest in education of the public least we lose our republic to a tyrannt.

Rush Limbaugh has been around for 30 years.  Fox News gained popularity during the 2008 election season and during the Obama  The population hasn't changed that much between Obama's reelection and Trump's victory.

I would recommend to liberals that instead of spending their time insulting Trump voters and congratulating each other on how intellectually and morally superior they are to Trumpsters, that they look at the liberal agenda and the methods used to accomplish that have led to Trump's popularity.

Of course, I hope they keep on doing what they are.  It will make reelection night that much sweeter.

I regret that I will be unable to protest Trump's presence in Lexington today.

But I am giving flu shots at two different locations, outside my home county.

So, I will get off work too late to get there and protest.

Such a shame because it is a beautiful day in the Blue Grass!

While I dont think we need to be assisting Russia with their fires or withdrawing federal aid from CA,  he is correct about California in the sense that bad policies have a lot to do with what is going on there in relation to the fires.

Lots of bad democrat policies are ruining the state.  I'd really like to see Trump campaign there.

The executives and shareholders of PG&E have been squeezing dollars from infrastructure improvement and maintenance to increase their profits for years now.  Today the aging system is vulnerable to high winds and the practice of starting and stopping power also has an unintended consequence of creating sparking.
