I doubt that this is all you are going to say on the subject as you revisit your stance frequently

Well, I mean for this time.  When I see vulgarity again, I'm going to call it out. But I do go there frequently, dangling a beheaded Trump, a naked statue of Trump, calling him a piece of 💣, each time I'll probably revisit this stance.   Each time you're going to defend such vile behavior as deserved and necessary.   So it's not the last your going to say either.

I would wholeheartedly agree with you, IF John Legend and his wife had made derogatory comments about Trump in a vacuum.

However, they did not.

It seems to me, that Trump and his followers only understand vulgarity, since it is his chosen mode of communication, and Trumpsters lap it up, like kittens on a saucer of mother's milk.

Sometimes, you must speak in the language your opponent understands.

I respect Michelle Obama, but the higher ground thing proved to be a failure didn't it?

HRC, doesn't occupy the WH, does she?

Clinton was a terrible candidate that even democrats couldn't stomach voting for her.  She had so much baggage.   I don't think her sinking into vulgarity would have helped her.

Michelle's speech made headline news and was widely praised.  But even she couldn't help her beat Trump.

Hmm.

HRC v DJT.

You think Clinton was a terrible candidate?

She lost to Trump.   Need I say more?

When she did go low calling Trump supporters "deplorables" it backfired in her face and became a rallying cry against her.

Yeah, you do need to say more, like how she won the popular vote, while Trump did not.

How many millions of votes did she win that popular vote by again?

Then you might want to say something about sexism.

A highly qualified and intelligent woman lost to a buffoon.

And your point is what, exactly?

Btw- she was absolutely right about those Trumpsters.

She said nothing wrong!

More bad news for Trump.

Besides slipping with Independents, whose support he needs to win in 2020, a new poll finds him TRAILING even more Democratic candidates!

He is now polling well behind Biden and Sanders, but also behind Warren and Harris!!!!

From today's WaPo:

President Trump Trails Potential Democratic Challengers In 2020 Test

Poor, poor, Donnie.

The only good news on his horizon, is the meager win Dan Bishop managed against his Democratic challenger in NC.

And of course, that election came about due to voter fraud committed by the GOP!

Such a small margin victory, after a stop by Trump and Pence, for a major pep rally.

As always, expect more unhinged rants, Tweets and behavior, as Trump slowly realizes that most Americans don't like him, and will support anybody who shut him out of the WH.

I have no point but to respond to you saying "HRC, doesn't occupy the WH, does she?"

I actually don't think she was a bad candidate, but even though she won the popular vote, she should have easily beat Trump.

The problem, like I said was she wasn't a good candidate because of her baggage.  She couldn't overcome Bengazi, the emails, her husband and Obama.   I saw the writing on the wall.

She might have been correct in calling them "deplorables" but it was a mistake.  In my opinion.

I think I discussed the sexism during the actually election, so no need to touch on that again.  It's a done deal and she lost.

Excellent column today in WaPo, written by true Conservative, Jennifer Rubin.

Ms Rubin discusses how upcoming election season might be impacted if Trump's polling numbers continue their death spiral.

Did you all read about Trump's "joke" about a third term?

I think this makes time number two or three with that poor "joke."

The thought of such a thing is enough to make this Liberal contemplate a firearms purchase, for the second American Revolution.

She received millions more votes in a national election.  We The People elected Clinton, the electoral college elected Trump.

Then there's the little matter of the government officials being unable to say unequivocally that Russian interference did not affect the outcome of the 2016 election as Trumpublicans in Congress set about doing as little as possible to discourage future interference. They also are trying to insure that Trump and friends won't have any further troubles with that pesky FEC.

Benghazi was a congressional witch hunt designed exclusively to hound a political candidate with negative political press. It continues to be a rally cry for the extreme right.

Truth.  She wasn't treated fairly by the extreme right but in the end, I still think she wasn't the right candidate because of this and other baggage that she wasn't able to overcome.   While she garnered the popular vote a Democrat, should have easily won the electoral college against a candidate like Trump.

Moot point because as Nel said HRC isn't in the White House is she?
