If Obama had initiated a law protecting little kittens from being maimed, he'd revoke it. Because it doesn't matter if it's a good law, he is so incredibly thin skinned and insecure, he just can't tolerate Obama or anyone else leaving any kind of positive legacy.

He's a bundle of personality disorders.

Anybody else remember Trump promising to eliminate the budget deficit?

Well, it looks like he is failing, yet again.

From CNN:

US Budget Deficit Rises 27% Through July

It seems as though, tax cuts for the rich, and tariffs on Chinese goods, have only increased the deficit, the way economists predicted, not dropped it, as Trump predicted.

Anybody surprised he was wrong?

Nah.

Are we borrowing billions from China to pay Soybean farmers suffering from China's retaliatory tariffs?

In a revealing interview, Trump predicts a ‘massive recession’ but intends to eliminate the national debt in 8 years

By Bob Woodward and Robert Costa  April 2, 2016

He insisted that he would be able to get rid of the nation’s more than $19 trillion national debt “over a period of eight years.”

Most economists would consider this impossible because it could require taking more than $2 trillion a year out of the annual $4 trillion budget to pay off holders of the debt.

Trump vehemently disagrees: “I’m renegotiating all of our deals, the big trade deals that we’re doing so badly on. With China, $505 billion this year in trade.” He said that economic growth he foresees as a consequence of renegotiated deals would enable the United States to pay down the debt — although many economists have said the exact opposite, that a trade war would be crippling to the U.S. economy.

Trump also said that the United States has lost its standing in the world and that he would make people “respect our country. I want them to respect our leader.” Asked how he would do so, Trump cited an “aura of personality.”…

Another day, another Trump lie.

Remember when he said he supported LEGAL immigration?

Guess what?

He doesn't!

Trump Officials Move To Deny Green Cards, Path To Citizenship For Poor Immigrants

Listening to Trump official defend the new rules on legal immigrants, is hilarious!

He clearly has no understanding of immigration history in this country.

He also wrongly believes that native born Americans "stand on their own two feet."

Anyone who has received a student loan, has not stood, on their own two feet.

Any business that has received a tax-break, to expand, or build in an area, hasn't stood on it's own two feet.

And I could go on, but you all get it.

We all get it.

It is called RACISM.

That blight, in the WH, must go!

They need to show that they can support themselves without being a burden to the welfare system, and It doesn’t apply to those who have green cards already.

Makes logical sense to me.

Trump doesn't understand:

  • Economics
  • Civics
  • The Constitution
  • Immigration
  • Foreign relations
  • Trade
  • Civility
  • Words have meaning and are powerful
  • Life
  • Human decency

Did I miss anything?

Excellent column, in today's WaPo, by true Conservative, Jennifer Rubin:

The King Of Insults, Trump Can't Handle The Truth About Himself

I would suggest the column also equally applies to Trumpsters.

Trump doesn't understand honesty, credibility, morality, ethics, altruism, compassion or empathy.

It's possible that Trump reflects the darkest humon nature that is revealed when a man is raised in wealth with a sense of entitlement and immunity from the law. Trump is a man who was dependent upon others for his economic solvency for decades yet he believes that poor people should survive without assistance because they don't have wealthy relatives.

Our neighbor across the street is worried. He bought their house in 1970, a year after we bought ours. He had a green card and worked two jobs when we first knew him. His brother and family lived there then. He was saving money and paying an attorney to help his wife, still living with her parents in Mexico, so she could legally come to the USA. After a few years she was allowed a visa to come and live here. Their son was born in 1974. He is now a retired police officer.

In 1886 his mother got a green card, his Dad became a citizen, and he graduated from the police academy. After 30 years he retired and now works at a store.

Now they are worried she could lose her residency status because for several years she worked part time and paid her taxes, Social Security, and Medicare payments. She pay for her Medicare insurance, a supplement, and part "D" pharmacy insurance. So far there is no way to know whether or not someone like her will be deported or not. Until the text of the regulations are available they don't know whether they can stay in the USA.

The Trump administration is expected to issue a proposal in coming weeks that would make it harder for legal immigrants to become citizens or get green cards if they have ever used a range of popular public welfare programs, including Obamacare, four sources with knowledge of the plan told NBC News.

Where is the text of the proposal stating it will not apply to current legal residents, including Green Card holders? She waited in Mexico for years so she could come legally.

Now the Trump administration wants to limit citizenship for legal immigrants

The most significant change to legal immigration in decades could affect millions of would-be citizens, say lawyers and advocates.

The move, which would not need congressional approval, is part of White House senior adviser Stephen Miller's plan to limit the number of migrants who obtain legal status in the U.S. each year.

Details of the rulemaking proposal are still being finalized, but based on a recent draft seen last week and described to NBC News, immigrants living legally in the U.S. who have ever used or whose household members have ever used Obamacare, children's health insurance, food stamps and other benefits could be hindered from obtaining legal status in the U.S...

That’s what it said in the NYT article the other poster referenced.

And, will save the government $57 billion a year.
