He got caught behaving in a very unprofessional matter and the only course of action was for him to resign.  Lesson learned.

Trump of course responded in a very unprofessional and junivenile matter calling him "wacky" and "stupid", but that's Trump.  It's okay when he does it.

Sorry Tweety, he was not "caught" he was leaked by someone - lots of suspects in the frame. Russia, America, Boris Johnson, China. Anyone or government who wants to destabilise Europe and give America an advantage. Remember the outcry when wikileaks did exactly the same thing?

So, who to believe.  Fake News Media CNN or The President of the United States?

Some of it might be nit picking the details, but doesn't the President know that people are doing to this?  How easy would it be to just tell the truth and not make stuff up?

10,796 lies in 876 days. Apparently impossible for this president to not make stuff up.

In fact, his seeming inability to be honest or to tell the truth is likely a long term feature of his deepening mental illness. As time goes on he becomes less able to be truthful and less aware that he is not truthful.

Fair enough, but that is for your country to have the outrage over the leaks that lead to his being caught.

Private conversation or not, set up or not, truth in what he was saying or not, good decent man or not, he insulted the American President to the point doing business with him was impossible.  He had to resign or be fired.

It seems to me that it was his job to provide his country with his honest appraisals of the the American President and the current political landscape of this country.  Britain isn't well served by a diplomat who pretends that Trump isn't an emotional bully and an insecure petty man. Clearly, there are people seeking political chaos across the globe.  It serves the agenda of despots well.

I'm can't say I buy into the conspiracy theory you're saying, but otherwise understand the first part of what you're saying.

As mentioned before, it's unlikely that this leak isn't intended to create chaos and division with the intent to weaken the governments involved. The "conspiracy theory" part is fueled by the fact that we KNOW that Putin is actively engaged in global cyber disruption and division and that he sponsored similar strategies elsewhere.

Trump from the beginning of his presidency has antagonized Britain, and in particular the mayor of London, and I don't think it's Russia's doing.  I'm not sure there was much "chaos and division".  There were a few words thrown around and a lot of "yeah Trump is incompetent and the guy tells the truth".  Now the news cycle is on to something else.

Do you think that Russia had anything to do with Brexit?

If you had to describe Donald Trump to someone who had no idea who he was, what would you say? What adjectives would you use?

Michael Cohen gave not only the House Committee a road map in which to further investigate the Trump criminal cabal, but remember, he also gave information to the Southern District of NY.

I stand by my assertion that it will be the entity to eradicate the blight.

“A federal investigation into whether Trump Organization executives violated campaign-finance laws appears to be wrapping up without charges being filed, according to people familiar with the matter.”
