Too soon to tell, dude.

Well, for someone who is an idiot, he is highly respected and decorated.

He said:      Under any circumstances, putting an irresponsible, ignorant man who takes his advice from all the wrong people in charge of the nation with the world's most important economy would be very bad news,"

Sounds like wise words to me.  I really hope his predictions of world recession though don't come true.  Trump most is pretty lucky not smart.

It is easy to be lucky when you have money.

Several economists are predicting recession in 2020.

Layoffs are already happening.

Those 1700 GM workers, and untold number of support workers in OH, are unemployed.

Payless shoe stores are going out of business.

And Dollar General is closing 400 stores.

Yes, I read it wrong.  No reason for the personal insult.

That is quite an interesting  and impressive anecdote.  Thanks for sharing!

No problem, dude.

Always happy to share!

I guess with economy so good people don’t need Dollar General and Payless.

And now there is only one Blockbuster Video left too.  Trump’s to blame, of course.

Oh, the ridiculous sarcasm.

That tells me you got nothing in the tank.

There is no shortage of poor people, and I would hope that most of us know that.

My comment refers to Dollar General.

So, of course there is a need.

The meaningless, sarcasm is exactly what I expect when folks know the clock is ticking.

Please continue, dude.

Hey, you ignored my question.

Do you think the laid-off GM workers will be voting for Trump should his name appear on the ballot?

In 1998 Paul Krugman famously predicted: “By 2005 or so, it will become clear that the Internet’s impact on the economy has been no greater than the fax machine’s.”https://news.bitcoin.com/paul-krugman-is-wrong-again/

Maybe GM shouldn’t have gone all in on the Volt.  I still don’t think Obama bought one as he promised, has he?

Most others here could probably educate you on how even in the best of economies not everyone is coming out on top all the time.

Most people understand that the majority of Americans earn money via a paycheck, not through the stock market.

So a loss of jobs is never a good thing.

Those job losses represent real people, not earning a paycheck, and unable to afford all the things a paycheck brings such as rent, medications, insurance, etc.

Let me educate you, the GM plant that closed, made the Cruze.

It was one of GM's best selling cars.

Maybe you didn't know that, or maybe you were trying your hand at ridiculous sarcasm again.

Duh.

I think we all know that not everyone comes out on top in a Capitalist society.

Look at yourself.

Are you part of the 1%?
