Yes, it was a stupid thing to say and he deserves any criticism that comes his way.

Will I vote for someone who voted against saving attempted aborted babies who were born alive, or want a basic income and free college, because of those comments?  Probably not.

Of course not.

CPAC attendees just chanted LOCK HER UP.  I hope Ivanka thought that was funny, knowing that she has been proven to be a liar and is likely to be investigated for money laundering.

I hope the entire Trump Family understands the good times are coming to an end.

DJT committed fraud when he lied about assets in order to secure a bank loan.

Michael Cohen gave not only the House Committee a road map in which to further investigate the Trump criminal cabal, but remember, he also gave information to the Southern District of NY.

I stand by my assertion that it will be the entity to eradicate the blight.

And what about Trump Tower Moscow?

Nice.

Yep. The good times are going to end.

The wheels of justice sometimes turn slowly, and that is okay.

We have time; right up until election day 2020.

I think the best part was and I'm paraphrasing "yes, I have no credibility...so why don't you question so and so and so and so" and see what you find.

Perfect road map.

How about when Cohen expressed concern that if Trump is outed there won't be a peaceful transition?

I share his concern.

There is an article in the Washington Post about the political climate, and talk of civil war.

There are comparisons between our time, and the Civil War era.

Interesting discussion.

Trump's support will be unwavering, no matter what anyone says or does what reports come out.  Period.

During his 2 hour speech at CPAC,  he stated that Democrats are Socialists, that there are members in Congress that hate America, and that institutions Meuller is on a witch hunt.  He has to convince people that regardless of the report it's not valid.  But really this crowd that could be heard chanting "we love you", "Trump is our man" and the ever present "lock her up" that he is a victim.

If for any reason anyone does try to oust him it will be an ugly time for these supporters who will push back.

“As I stand before you today, I see the greatest president in history,” Lindell said of Trump. “Of course he is. He was chosen by God.

With this kind of unshakable belief, there is no compromise, there is no "reasonable discussion", there is no hope of them seeing something other than what he tells them.  He has a hold on them like no one I have ever seen in my lifetime.

Which is exactly why liberals need to support people like Bill Weld, who are willing to step up, and try to stop the madness.

Don't forget, Trumpsters are the minority, not the majority.

Trump has to increase the number of his supporters to win reelection.

Those numbers are dwindling, not increasing.

And there is a good chance Trump will not be on the ballot.

That made me throw up in my mouth.  I don't understand the thrall he holds over people.  I question everything I know about human intelligence now.

The GOP and Roger Ailes worked to create a media environment which published all information from a conservative perspective.  They created a cult. Trump easily took control of that cult by appealing directly to the fears of that group as their leader.  The cult without that leadership was difficult and obstructionist; with a leader the cult is willing to accept anything and equivocate any value or law as long as it upsets libtards. They mistake rude cruelty for strength.

You are exactly right, baloney.

I disagree with BC, but only in reference to her questioning human intelligence.

The Trump cult survives, the way all cults and strong men do, because of the base fears of its members.

If you listen to Trumpsters, or read their posts on these threads, they are TERRIFIED of the "other."

The only way the "other" is acceptable to them, is if they are perceived as a non-threatening in any way.

They seem to believe the "other" is stealing their rightful piece of the Apple pie.

It isn't human intelligence that is the problem, it is human greed.

Trump and minions are able to exploit and manipulate those fears.
