You are reading page 10 of The Myth of Climate Change. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

If eleven thousand nine hundred forty four peer reviewed research papers are "anecdotes" how many anecdotes constitute evidence?

We nurses had documented shifts where a patient suffered adverse effects because their nurse was responsible for too many patients. There were more than 21,000 such reports documenting falls, late administration of medication, and 'Failure to Rescue'. The hospital association attorney called these "anecdotes". Even they ones when the patient or family won a court case with insufficient nurse staffing as cause of the harm to the patient they claimed it was, "only anecdotal".

This study showed we were right. Safe staffing ratios save lives.

I don't see why we need "science" behind it, when we have thousands of years of actual history and happenings that show it chills and then it heats, then it chills again. Again, I ask: what if that happens? then what?

What will happen when the cyclic heating and our added greenhouse gasses possible heat up our Earth?

Are you saying that it is impossible for human activity to be doing any possible harm?

As an argument against anthropogenesis, this is a bit like saying people died of cancer before Europeans discovered tobacco, therefore smoking can't possibly cause cancer.

ETA: in fact it's interesting to note that the denialist industry (and it IS an industry) seems to have adopted much of its strategy (business plan?) from the tobacco wars.

As if the climate change folks aren't in an industry! I changed yet another curly light bulb today...one that probably cost me $4 of $5 bucks and it's been in about a year. It's in the fixture by my front door, so it gets very limited use. Far less hours or years than the "industry" would want us to believe. It's a scam.

I have started putting the date on new bulbs I put into fixtures...and while it's a giant PIA, I am going to keep that part of packaging that promises 7 years and 1500 hours blah, blah, blah.

I've saved the packaging with the guaranteed 7.3 years and the receipts too!

So far I haven't had to use it. If needed I'll be the annoying old lady willing to go to court over the cost of a light bulb.

One year is a far cry from 7 years. And this isn't the first time I have found this to be the case. In fact, I have old-fashioned light bulbs in my bedroom that are the original bulbs from over 20 years ago....and a curly one in the same fixture was the first to burn out.

That's why I believe it's all a scam.

Have a good time explaining to the grandchildren that they're saddled with billions in once-avoidable costs because y'all were too busy dating your light bulbs to pay attention. Think they'll buy the excuse that climate change was all a hoax to trick you into buying lousy light bulbs?

A reading list from duckduckgo.com, which does not skew results to reflect what you want to hear:

I am afraid my grandchildren are going to be saddled with costs put in place by people I didn't vote for. How shall I explain that?

On both sides of the fence, which is the point. Google has admitted that they skew their returns according to one's search history.

As as for snark, tell you what ... I'll refrain from sarcasm when you stop flogging phoney "history" like the consensus that never was about ice ages. You know better and I know you know better.

No deal. History is there for all to see. Your snark is a personal thing....and it's not pretty, shouldn't continue and shouldn't be allowed to continue either.
