You are reading page 6 of Thank you Planned Parenthood!. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

Idoesn't change the fact that you are a liar, as evidenced by your own deliberate falsehood regarding the reasons women use PPs services.

That's your opinion. Anyone can read PP's annual reports.

Abstinence only sex-miseducation is associated with higher teen pregnancy rates. It has nothing to do with actually decreasing abortion or anything else except kids' knowledge base, so you're lying about that, too.

More opinions on your part. It's part of the left play book... don't have any facts to back up anything, then call the other party a liar or use other forms of name calling.

Your gloves have been off for every reply to anyone who dares post about the scientific fact life begins at conception or dare say the largest abortion mill in the United States of America are just in it for the money of taking human life (which is not health care).

Planned Parenthood was founded by racist and bigot Margret Sanger who gave speeches to the KKK calling black people weeds and other racist names. Follow the history trail, follow the money.

I am respectfully requesting that the name calling cease before this thread gets frozen by the admins for TOS violations.

PJABRAHAM, I don't appreciate you hijacking this thread. Your opinions are your own. You're being rude trying to force them on those who don't agree with you. If you loathe the good work that Planned Parenthood does, why don't you post your own "I hate Planned Parenthood" thread and leave those of us who support the work of Planned Parenthood alone? We will continue to fight to assure access to birth control and women's health care to all who need it. You're not going to stop us. It's a personal matter between patient and clinician, and no one has any right to intrude.

Thank you for calling out Heron on name calling.

This topic really has no business on this site. I hope it gets shut down quickly as many women on both sides are going to be hurt and probably already are with some of the comments. Good for you OP for being thankful for something but take your drama elsewhere.

OP is not the one causing drama-you are. She simply stated her experience and the choice she made. If you are offended, then don't read her posts. That's what the ignore button is for.

I, too am thankful for Planned Parenthood. They gave me good gyn care when I could not afford to go elsewhere, they provided me with unbiased, accurate info on reproduction, and also provided me with affordable contraception. I have referred many patients there. Abortion is only a small part of what PP does. They provide necessary services to women and save lives through early cancer detection. I'm so glad they are around.

There are no lies being spread. It's medical science life starts at conception. It's a fact that when an abortion takes place, a human life is taken. And we have abortion mill Planned Parenthood that's more concerned about profits than the women it claims to serve: Sales of Baby Body Parts Shows Abortion Industry More Concerned With Profits Than Women | LifeNews.com

Lifenews is certainly not an unbiased source. How about providing some research that backs up your stance that comes from the scientific community rather than a pro-life stance site?

Founded by a lawyer, who is in no way a scientist. "Preborn" children shows the slant of this website. Only presents one side.

The American College of Pediatricians concurs with the body of scientific evidence that human life begins at conception - fertilization

So then what happens when the fertilized egg fails to implant? How can that signify the beginning of life when conditions don't support it?

I had the misfortune of being born and raised in the area where you state you're from. It's quite sad how so few people are willing to look outside sources that merely confirm their own biases.

Oh, and have I stated my stance on abortion? Nope, so you have no idea which side I actually support. I'm just trying to make you think beyond your own little world.

It's not a religious issue when life begins. It's science. When an egg has no implantation, then there's no conception. I realize that if one hunts, one can find unscientific research to support a different point of view.

Nursing school taught me life starts at conception; and I knew that from various science classes in high school through various articles as of today.

-- among the many sad things that goes on at Planned Parenthood.
