Good morning too early!

Hubby actually slept in recliner last night after I got a bunch of little pillows jammed in here and there for support. I'm sure the pain meds and sleeping pill helped too. But it was good to hear him snoring!

Back to work today with my tiny 98!

Time to pack up my food, get dressed, and be on my way.

Y'all enjoy your Sunday!

Good Morning Stars and all who pop in,

Hope your day goes well for you. Wonderful that hubby is sleeping well at this time hon.

Had a most excellent day yesterday, hiked with hubby and the dogs, hard sweaty slog but it was so much fun. Nice to see some wild flowers starting to come out, will have to remember to take my camera with me. Came home and both of us worked in the yard for a few hours then shared a beer sitting in the sunshine while we watched the dogs play.

Went out last night to a local café which is awesome, there was a 16yr old playing guitar and singing who was simply amazing. LOVED her voice very strong and distinct, writes her own songs which were fantastic. I kept telling her to send a video to The Voice. WOW.

Up early as Newly was trying to throw up, both pups went outside then demanded their breakfast. LOL

So there are back in bed and here I sit, there is something wrong with this picture.

May you all have a most excellent and happy Sunday.

Much love to you all.

Good afternoon!

I walked this morning with my friends up and down the hills of our town and down by the bay. It was so nice to NOT SEE ANY SNOW!

I am trying to get back in to shape, I have let myself go a bit.

Topic was our kids heading to college in the Fall. My son just decided to go to UNC. So I will be working a long time.

Hope everyone has a beautiful Sunday!

Afternoon all!

Beautiful sunny day, not too hot, took 2 of the dogs out for a walk. Didn't feel up to wrangling the puppy, so much to his dismay he got left behind. It was very peaceful.

Going in to work at 11P. So, not doing much the rest of the day but relax and enjoy.

Good to hear your hubby is doing better NoStar!

Got laundry and some extras (bedspread and scrubs) done, trimmed the front bushes and cleaned out old leaves from under them.

Rake broke and i duct-taped it together.

Swept the walk.

Treated myself after to a decaf skinny mocha.

Shopped at the health food store and the grocery store.

After putting away the groceries, i am relaxing.

Tired.

Need to practice guitar sometime tonite.

Y'all have a good one

Good evening everyone,

Been hectic the last few days at work. On my lunch break right now, although may need to cut it short if the new aid I am working with doesn't get the call light that has been going for awhile soon, grrr. Had a pleasant surprise this afternoon, got the grade back on my micro lab practical I took on Thursday. Was hoping for at least a decent passing grade with the extra credit questions she gave us, ended up with an excellent grade of 119.5% with almost 4 extra credit points. Definitely very happy with the score and might still be able to pull of a 4.0 in the class, which would be great for trying to get into MSUs bridge program while working on my associates.

Stars happy to hear that your husband was able to get some sleep last night. Hopefully tonight will go well also.

Hope everyone has a wonderful Sunday evening.

Hi all - read everyone's update.

I'm home. After 3 days at the coast, one night here, and then 2 days in Medford for Spidey's baseball tournament. My eldest son came down from Portland and brought my granddaughter so I was a very happy grandma. They spent the night with us at the Best Western and there were two more games today. 2 losses; 2 wins.

Arrggh - back to work tomorrow. I'd love to retire.

Know what you mean, Steph. Now that I know I have the option to retire, I find I don't mind working. It's like knowing you have an exit but opting not to use it right now................

Right now, due to hubby's injury/surgery I feel 'obliged' to work to keep us from going under; however knowing it's okay if I don't happen to get 36-40 hrs each week, well, having the pressure reduced is wonderful.

I may even get to the point of just doing 24 hrs/week. It makes me giddy!
