BC that sounds like an interesting take on MacBeth

Dianah no, J doesn't have any interest in birdwatching

NJ22 I had been using the Trader Joe's mix, but recently I've had luck with Better Homes and Gardens recipe with a modification.  I checked online and they said adding an extra egg and a tablespoon of honey helps avoid dryness.  I did that and it came out better

Stars here's hoping the dizziness goes away

Amo hope insurance proves cooperative

Yesterday was quite productive.  Did my usual birdwatching in the morning.  When I came home I baked some cornbread and did a crockpot recipe.  Met dad for lunch.  Decided to do laundry too, normally I do it before church but church is early today.  Watched Svengoolie, he had Munster Go Home which wasn't great but was kinda funny.

Today up early for church, it's our feast day as well as our first service with the new minister.  Having a reception afterwards.  The bell choir will perform and the regular choir will do a short piece

Rest of the day should be fairly quiet, just exericse and crafting.  Will be fairly warm, in the mid 60s

Good Sunday Morning, all!

Cornbread sounds good, thanks for the tips to make it more moist.  What crockpot recipe did you make, Joe?  Hope today's service is satisfying, with the new minister.  Is the reception a potluck?

We got to the festival area around noon.  Carlsbad By the Sea is the name of the hotel.  Only two stories.   There is a large grassy area with some trees and shrubs, surrounded by the rooms, and connected to another open area (surrounded by more rooms) that contains the pool.  One of the attendees walked around at one point and counted 15 jams going on, outside!  Plus some jams inside rooms.  Lots of the rooms had their sliding glass doors open to balcony areas (facing the grassy area), and jams were happening there too, or ppl were just sitting, listening.  We jammed till about 5, then went out to eat with our bassist and J.  We returned around 7 and jammed till 9, then left to hurry home to let the dog out!  It was sure good to see friends and play together!  We slept in this morning, tired from yesterday.  Today will be get-ready-for-work-tomorrow chores.

Have a good day (don't forget to turn your clocks back!!)!

Well it is siesta time at Ye Olde No-Stars Ranchette~

Nannie is in her recliner, covered up with a lap-robe, head hanging toward her right shoulder, and she is snoring lightly; hubby up on his bed; Ozzie here beside me on the sofa in the den. None of them are talking in their sleep, though they all have been known to. And Me? =wide awake, and enjoying the peace and quiet!

Joe, Sounds like a busy Sunday. It will be interesting to hear how the service with the new minister went.

dianah, you and your dh are just a couple of jammin' fools! 😋 It sounds like you had a lot of fun and it was a great time. No worries about maintaining the fingertip callouses now, eh?

j22....amoLu....BCg....I know you're out there somewhere!

I'll stop by later~

Hi. Yes, I'm here, Stars. Nothing special here, today. Went down to the diner for breakfast. Dh and I were going to pick up ds's car from the fix-it place while he was at work yesterday, but I forgot to bring the key. And then I thought we could pick it up after breakfast, but ds wanted to come home for a nap. So we are going later. I have sheets in the washer. I am trying to reset dh's  Casio watch, but the directions don't seem to follow what the watch is doing. Grrr. I don't remember it being this contrary before.

Amo, I take Eliquis, and with a customer loyalty card, it is $10 a month instead of the retail $500 a month. If that is the one they want to put you on, you should check on their website and see if your insurance qualifies. https://www.eliquis.bmscustomerconnect.com/afib/savings-and-support

Stars, I have a sleeping dog next to me, too. I guess he has forgiven me for trimming his nails today.

Joe, that sounds like an eventful day at church. I used to watch the Munsters TV show. I even had a Munsters lunch box, lol.

Dianah, I looked up Carlsbad by the Sea. What a lovely setting. It looks like it was quite a drive.

I've been griping about the cold weather, but our happy little meteorologist assures us the cold will be gone as of mid-day tomorrow and we'll be back in the 70's for another 3 or 4 days. If I live long enough, I'll be in MY 70's for another 7 & 1/2 years! (and too cool for school!)

I got Nannie to go to bed at 10 PM tonight; I said she had to go to bed because I'm planning to go upstairs and SHE doesn't know how to turn off the TV!  So, I lied, because I wasn't going to go upstairs....but it worked! And now that she has cleared out of the den...

... to tell you the truth, I'm tired of TV, so maybe I WILL go on upstairs after all. I am a print-junkie who needs to get back into reading my latest marked-down-to-$3-paperback book. What's the title? Who's the author? I dunno. It was a $3 book, so it's not on the top 10 best-seller's list! It's a story with a plot and characters. Coca-cola for my brain.

Not sure what's on the slate for this coming week. Guess it'll be a surprise to all of us!!!🙃
