Jennifer Rubin is a true conservative.

She isn't a Trumpster, nor is she a right-winger.

She is just a conservative.

Her column today, in the WaPo, poses at least one question, that is also on my mind: Why did Billy Barr redact information about Michael Flynn, from the Mueller report?

Her column is:

Why The Michael Flynn Revelations Are So Important

Obviously.

If the Democrats think that’s a winning strategy, combined with their lackluster candidates and the hammer that’s about to fall regarding the origins of the Russia hoax, it should be fun times ahead.

Twenty-three candidates, vying to unseat an popular buffoon.

These are fun times!

Right-wingers appealing to their base, the already indoctrinated, with baseless new anti-abortion laws.

Nothing fires up the left like a good old-fashioned culture war.

If Republicans think they got hit by a Blue Wave last November, just wait til 2020!!!

Read the Jennifer Rubin opinion piece.

And she is a conservative!

Fun times.

I don’t see where Mueller “specifically pointed out” any such thing.  I have seen where that’s people’s opinion of why he didn’t.

From your article:

“As Axios' David Nather writes, Trump ultimately wasn't charged with obstruction because Mueller didn't want to "place burdens on the President's capacity to govern"

From the Mueller report:

Quote

“With respect to whether the President can be found to have obstructed justice by exercising his powers under Article II of the Constitution, we concluded that Congress has authority to prohibit a President’s corrupt use of his authority in order to protect the integrity of the administration of justice,” .. “The separation-of-powers doctrine authorizes Congress to protect official proceedings, including those of courts and grand juries, from corrupt, obstructive acts regardless of their source…The conclusion that Congress may apply the obstruction laws to the President’s corrupt exercise of the powers of office accords with our constitutional system of checks and balances and the principle that no person is above the law.”

I'm still not sure what possible "hammer" there is that's about to fall or what the Russia 'hoax' was.

The Russia Hoax is part of the right wing propaganda that seeks to protect Trump rather than protect the Republic . The hammer is imagined to be Barr's investigation into the investigation. I'm sad to see such partisan drivel shared here as if it has merit or value.

I suspect that your question was rhetorical but it is important to be clear about the reality of these things in our slide toward fascism.

Congressman Justin Amash, a republican from Michigan is trending on Twitter for his statement that Trump engaged in impeachable behavior.

I suspect that Trump will be launching a Twitter attack on him shortly.

With the emphasis you have placed in her being a conservative, we should then also know she is a hard core never-Trumper while considering her opinion.

Yeah, I know that.

Sort of makes my point, right?

Trump isn't a true conservative, and from what I have read, and heard from his supporters, neither are they.

Robert Mueller Holds Press Conference on the Russia Probe and Trump

Robert Mueller’s swan song.  Bad day for the anti-Trumpers.

He probably won’t be in the running again for Time Man if the Year.  😂!
