Hi Everyone, Mrs Scrubs70 here.

I just wanted to let you all know that Richard was hospitalised today after suffering a heart attack. He is currently stable and they are doing tests.

They think the main cause is stress, although his blood cholesterol test was 3 times the acceptable limit. They are going to redo that test tomorrow morning first thing.

I will try and keep you all up to date, and we would truly value your prayers.

Thankyou

He is still local at this stage. I am not on my own, a friend from our local church has moved in to look after us until he comes home.

Since he only young I am surprised that they have not transferred him to a larger hospital - from what scrubs has been posting you are in a fairly remote area of the state there I couldn't imagine that they would have the laboratory back-up needed. You must be very worried. How did it present??? Have they confirmed the heart attack by tests yet???

They did an ecg???? I think it is and they said he had a myo something????????

I don't really understand any of it. He had an AFib or something 3 years ago too.

He was taken to Port Pirie, which is our nearest big hospital.

It is only 70km away, so it is still local.
