Good morning.

It is officially Saturday and I am still awake. My son and I stayed up late watching a movie so I thought I would say a quick hello before going to sleep for the night. While watching the movie I was also browsing/shopping for a new cell phone. My current phone has been acting up and I am ready for an upgrade.

I am finally buying myself a nice phone (Samsung Galaxy S5). I pick it up tomorrow and I can't wait to play with it. Hey, even as adults we all have "toys" we like to play with. This phone will be my new toy. :D It will be nice to have a phone that has a working camera and.....actually makes calls. Like I said, I am ready to throw my current phone out the window sometimes.

Better get some sleep. :zzzzz:

Wishing all a wonderful Saturday.

Good Morning NF, and all who slide in today,

Thank you for starting us off today. I hope you enjoy your new phone NF, sounds like you are very excited. I am the opposite and only have a work phone but refuse to have a personal cell phone. LOL Sounds like you also had a great movie night, aren't they just fun? Hope you had popcorn though! :)

Had an awesome time at the nursing comps yesterday, I was so norty and kept everyone in stitches, sometimes I just cannot help myself. We had a lot of good laughs, learnt new stuff, caught up on policy changes etc Had our annual test at the end of it which is always hysterical in itself. Lots of yelling across the room 'hey what did ya get for #27 etc, we learn best this way and especially doing equianalgesia. I personally love doing those!

We went and looked at that cute house, glorious grounds and setting but walking through the house I did not get that I really love this house feeling. Hubby and I spent about an hour out there chatting with the seller, we chatted as we drove home and as I mentioned to hubby. The reason we are selling is 1. to down size and 2. to have a one level place. This cute house has two levels and the stairs were rather steep! Here is the link if you want to have a look.

1463 Grassy Creek Rd, Pinnacle, NC 27043 is For Sale - Zillow

Going to get ready to take the boys for our normal hike then when we get home we will hit the yard with mowing and weed eating. Ted I do not eat the weeds but hubby does. LOL

Hope you all have a most excellent and relaxing day.

Much love to you all and prayers for those struggling with personal or life issues.

Morning Sabby and NF

Steph actually I didn't have to get much, just a water bowl and a mat for the bowls and a litterbox, I have lots of extra cat stuff.

Drove into work yesterday, drove home with all of my work-related equipment. All I have to do now is spend a little time getting it set up and I should be ready to start working from home. Have to return on Wednesday for a meeting, will probably pick up some office supplies at that time. Came home and watched "The Spy Who Loved Me"

Today I'll get my hair cut in the morning and then stop at the shelter to pick up Marge and finish the paperwork. Just have to get the litterbox and food dishes in place and I'll be ready. She'll probably stay in the bathroom initially, to let her get used to one room before seeing the rest, and to let my existing cat get used to her presence. I think she'll adapt quickly, I'll ask the shelter for their guidance on how long to do this.

Not much else planned for today. Might head outside for a bit later. Going to see dad tomorrow. Tonight Svengoolie has "The Deadly Mantis", a pretty bad but funny 50's movie that I usually enjoy.

Good morning!

It's rainy and humid here, but I've got my fingers crossed that the rain will stop soon. Tonight is DD's senior prom, and we don't want any hair disasters! Plus, I have a big date tonight at a fancy-schmancy place and drowned rat is not my best look. DS's graduation is tomorrow. So many good things packed into one weekend!

Sabby-that house is adorable, but if you don't love it, you don't love it. Joe-be sure to post a picture of Marge. Frances-hope you got a good night's sleep. Hey to everyone else who stops by today.

Off I go. Have a wonderful day!

I'm up now but will definitely want a nap later. I woke up with a headache but it will go away after a shower and some food.

My son will sleep in so I am browsing online for a bit then will get up and get ready for the day. We will probably go to the the movies after we get some lunch later. My daughter works today but will try to spend some time with her too.

It has been nice being able to see her at work. She is doing very well as the work operator. I'm proud of her. It's a hard job but I knew she could handle it.

Good to read you all. Better get going.

It is prom night here too! Limos in a small town really stand out!

Sabby - You know. . . I didn't get a "I love this house feeling" either . The kitchen is too small. Everything looks kinda cramped. The outside looks good though. Maybe you could take down a wall or two?

We had a nice day watching baseball. Spidey's team won both games (same team they lost two games to on Opening Day). Spidey pitched well and got 3 hits.

I put on sunscreen but still got a bit sunburned.

Watching the Giants try to catch up with the Marlins . . . 6th inning and they are behind 3 to Zip.

Headed to bed shortly. I'm tired.

Joe - good luck with Marge tonight!!

Well, it's almost the end of Saturday in my neck of the woods. And how did I spend my day enjoying the freedom of no more classes? Frittering away the time reminiscing on old, fun, locked down threads such as these that I didn't really have time for when they were fresh:
