Stars I hope you find some relief from that pain

Work was fine yesterday, though at the end of the day I got stuck with something that had to be completed on top of a busy afternoon.  Was stressful but got it done

Got my usual takeout, watched Yes Minister, and worked on needlepoint

Have to take the cat into the groomers this morning.  While she's there I'll try and do some work on the litterboxes and do some chopping in preparation for cooking tomorrow.  Will try and go out birdwatching afterwards, hopefully won't be too warm or crowded

Skipping Svengoolie as he has one of those boring British horror movies tonight.  Maybe they'll have some good Three Stooges episodes

Supposed to be a cooler day than yesterday

Hello.

Stars sorry you're in pain

Working today and tomorrow.  They put the unit the tech worked in that was positive and deliberately worked sick on quarantine and told all the patients they were exposed. I have an opinion not worth venting.  We made the news as I expected when a disgruntled employee called them with her concerns.  I applaud her for speaking up for patient safety.  Next the exposed patients will make the news.  Meanwhile yesterday's covid numbers were the highest again.  More coworkers testing positive and were a mess.  A sinking ship.

They pulled our tech and we're short two people now.  Lovely Day.

I hope No stars feels better SOON.

The neighborhood is NOISY! There was a wedding in the park a couple blocks away. I've seen the bride and groom, but don't know them. Now the wedding party is driving around yelling, and honking with balloons and streamers flowing behind the cars. Nice excitement on an early Saturday afternoon.

Sure didn't feel better this morning, but I do feel some better this evening. Tomorrow is Sunday, and then on Monday AM I can get in touch with the doc's PA...or maybe she'll beat me to it and wake me up with her call. That'd be okay. I think I could at least need a scan or MRI, as it really just feels different, somehow, this time, than the last time the gypsies laid siege to my bones. The Sharp-Yowler's (the gypsy's yellow-cur-dogs,no doubt) have a real sharp, MEAN bite. Which is why I obey them, stay in bed and not 'try' to pitch in to the household chores. NO WAY!!!! {Hey! Look at me! I am actually TAKING CARE OF MY SELF FOR A CHANGE!!!}

I asked hubby, "When you come upstairs again, could you please put on that frilly little pink apron? And could you at least curtsy before you leave the room?" He delicately put his index finger under his chin, and took a whirl or two, then curtsied. Now THAT'S what I call respect! 😉

Hubby made some cold mac-salad  for me tonight. That was YUM!

Anyway, awright, awright, awright. Keep on! Keep strong! Don't let the ,um, bass-tids <(Boston axx-cint) git you down !

Almost time for my PM dosing; I'll toss down the pills and salute: " What's good for the butt is good for the head!" 😊 Maybe that side-effect was unintended, but there's no law that says it is illegal to relax and enjoy the ebbing pain...

No Stars, good you are relaxing!!  Monday can't come soon enough...  Kudos to your dh for doing a proper curtsey!

Slept in till 8, went to Zoom Sabbath School, ate lunch w/dh, diddled on the puter, did a Jamkazam Jam, drove to friend's house to pick up masks she had made (very nice ones, I might add!), then made dinner.  Tomorrow we will gear up into "preparation mode."  We will leave for the campground probably by 12 or 1 on Monday.

Tweety, gosh, I hate to hear about the onward march of Covid.  Then I see ppl in the grocery store without masks, and get a little irritated.    I guess our motto should be "one day at a time."

Joe, how does the cat do at the groomers'?   I assume s/he is used to going, and doesn't put up a fuss?  (man, ours would have a conniption fit just to get in the car!!  They are not used to going ANY where)

Have a good evening!

This cat isn't too bad, reluctant to get in the carrier and meows most of the way there, but easier than other cats I've had
