Good Morning to you all,

Great day yesterday, got heaps done and had some fun at the end of the day. Tossed a snow ball at our Social Worker then high tailed it out of there before any retaliation but I know I will cop something down the road. LOL

Here is a close up of the cross stitch that my BFF did for me and she now hangs up on the wall in our living room.

You can make out a few beads and sequins in the dress but she is adorable.

Will be heading off for our hike shortly then we are heading off to the RV show in Greensboro to have a look at what is out there, so looking forward to seeing some good stuff and just enjoying ourselves walking around.

Hope you are all doing well this day.

Much love to you all.

Good Morning! Sabby. herring. Posterity!

cross stitch

BEAUTIFUL Work, Sabby!

It Amazes me how People can have the Patience and Talent to Produce such Fine and Intricate Pieces of Work!

I Figure each Cross Stitch is sort of like a Color Pixel. Put the Pixels together in a Pattern, and Viola! You have a Magnificent Work of Art! Placing each Stitch is such a Time Consuming and Laborious Labor, I Believe, a True Artisan's Labor of Love. Wow.

I'm into Immediate Gratification too much for such Projects. Once again, I Doff my Proverbial Hat to hose of Who who do.

Have a Good Day, All!

Good Morning -

Lovely art-work, Sabby_NC! Appreciate you sharing the lovely work created by your friend. :)

Just got home from work. It was a busy night, but a good one. I'm off the next four nights which is good. So far, no real plans for the next four days except the usual-usual.

I feel the ZZZZZZs crossing my forehead. Think I'll catch some slumber time with the possibility of come here later to read and play. :)

Cheers! :)

Ted

Morning BC Davey Ted

Sabby I'm very impressed with the detail

Oy, still not working from home. Some more difficulties to work out. Stayed home part of the morning to get things straightened out, but it didn't work. Drove into work, got some things done, drove home in heavy traffic. A tiring day. It seems that some steps got skipped during my work at home application that we need to go back and re-do. I'm hoping it won't take too long.

Oh well. Was going to do some work from home this weekend but decided against it, there isn't enough I can do at home right now to justify bringing the laptop home.

Got up quite late today, going to see dad and get instructions on what he needs done while he's in Florida. Probably going to try and put my desk together too. Svengoolie has a favorite of mine on tonight, "The House of Dracula"

Good sunny morning. :)

Windows are iced over on the autos but it should get into the high 50's today.

Basketball today - 2 games. Will try to work in housework and yardwork. I'm also on call all weekend.

Very pretty Sabby - love the detail!

Good day all.

Well DGS survived the elimination rounds and proceeded to wrestle this morning. Unfortunately, he did not win so he is done. He was wrestling the #2 in the state and almost pinned him, or perhaps did briefly, and the ref missed it. Either way he represented his school and himself admirably.

It is a beautiful day here, and the dog and I will be heading out for a walk in just a couple of minutes.

Sabby, your lady is beautiful. I am with Davey about doing something like this. No patience. When I did try to do much counted cross stitch I was so frustrated. My DD can do beautiful work. Mine looked like the handkerchief I worked on as a Brownie scout. I do love to see beautiful hand work.

My wash is about done, and my dryer has stopped so now I am ready to finish this cuppa tea and head out.

have a beautiful weekend.

So sorry about the shooting. I recalled that is was just over a year ago when 2 people were gunned down in our court house. Again, family fighting others in the family. In the case here the shooter thought a woman was the attorney for the other victim and had vowed to kill both. The woman was a friend who had gone to court with the initial victim, totally innocent. It played with our heads for a long time. Our little city has many shootings. Anything we can do to prevent the next is what is necessary. This is not a political threads so I will just say that it is tough for any community to go through this kind of hardship. Prayers for all involved.

Good afternoon to all. It has been a lovely lazy day. My hubby and son are out camping and off-roading until later today or early tomorrow so I have been playing on AN (the nursing side) for a good part of the latter morning. I need to change position so I don't get any bedsores/DVTs. ;)

Wishing all a wonderful Saturday. Time to get up and throw some laundry in the wash and maybe clean out the fridge. I am trying to take it easy though. I pulled a stomach muscle last week so I am resting. It does feel better today. I started taking Aleve last night q 12 hours.

I went to the doctors yesterday and realized I have gained almost ten pounds since the holidays. I think I need to cut out on the pie and occasional muffin in the mornings and go back to cheerios. Last night I was going to get a pot pie at KFC after leaving the doctors but ate a salad instead. You know when your wardrobe mainly consists of scrubs and pajamas ten pounds can sneak up on you pretty quick. Better get going, see ya.
