Just heard on TV that Sean Connery, the epitome James Bond 007, has died.

The movie industry has lost a great one.

May he RIP.

For heaven's sake; a lot of good'n's are going out these days.

The best movie with Sean Connery in it was "The Wind and The Lion". Even though it is more fictional than not, and quite UN-PC, an olden-days 'culture' which may have only partially existed, and certainly not as romantically filmed ... but damn, I just love that movie.

Sean Connery had a great, hearty and lusty, on-screen laugh in that film.

Thank you, @amoLucia,

Aw, I will miss him.

There are so many movies ... hard to say my favorites.

When my children were little, they loved the movie, Time Bandits. Not a typical Sean Connery movie, but he was perfect for the part.

Rest in peace, Sir Sean.

He was once named "World's Sexiest Man".

That man could have left his shoes under my bed any time!!!

He is/was, par excellence, the definitive James Bond! In any trivia game, you say 'James Bond', and the answer will be Sean Connery. You say 'Sean Connery' and the answer will be James Bond.  AUTOMATIC.

What more can be said!!

Roger Moore and Pierce Brosnan were excellent replacements, but they were not Sir Sean!

I enjoyed The Hunt for Red October, except that the Scottish/Russian accent was a little disconcerting. He appeared in a movie called Finding Forrester that was loosely based on J.D. Salinger that I liked.

This weekend, I think someone, is doing a Sean Connery movie-thon.

I think it was either the day he died or the next day, one of the movie channels had back-to-back-to-back 007 movies.
