Yawn. Let Mueller do his job. If Trump is innocent he has nothing to worry about.

Still waiting for Trump to release his taxes. What's he afraid of?

It would be interesting to see, if only for purposes of fact-checking, including a look at sources.

On the other hand, a secret memo that no independent person is allowed to read critically is a marvelous propaganda tool against the Mueller investigation, since they can make any allegations they like and atribute them to this mysterious memo. Republican efforts in that direction have been comically inept, so Goddess knows they need something. We shall see.

What would he be worried about? The memo is certainly not tainting him.

I'm sure if his taxes worried him, we would already know why.

I'm sure it will be scrutinized once released... However, even though it isn't released to the public yet, 115 House members have read it. To be honest, if it was at all damaging, allegedly or not, to the President, you know we would have already heard about it.

You know many people who don't buy the Russian dossier, aren't in favor of Republicans either.

As I said, we shall see. As for the Russian dossier, not being a researcher myself, I don't have the skill set to fact-check it myself. I have no reason to doubt the credibility of Steele and he's certainly in a position to get the information. So far, I have not read that anything in the dossier has been proven false. Time will tell.

There's nothing stopping them from releasing the memo, and there's be no claims it contains anything that isn't already out there. The memo was written by Devin Nunes, who every few months makes an active attempt to run interference for Trump, which has never actually produced anything of substance and even republicans have been embarrassed enough by his antics that he had to step down as co-chairman.

Various aspects of the dossier have been confirmed, and Manafort has actually pled guilty to charges that come to light in part because of the dossier.

What do you think is preventing them from releasing it?

If Nunes authored the memo, it's credibility is already in question. The dude is crazy.

Probably because there isn't anything IN the dossier. What has come of it?

Release it to the public, but not the FBI?

FBI: Devin Nunes won't show us memo alleging surveillance abuses - Hot Air Hot Air

Stealing your line here, TMB,

you can't make this stuff up!

Of course they won't release to the FBI - they have the resources to actually investigate any allegations. If they give it to a non-critical public first, the meme is out there before any fact-finding can take place. It's a kind of riff on the way faux news gets bounced from site to site. Propaganda 101. The Russian bots know their business.
