I am sitting here listening to a woman on the Rush Limbaugh show trying to get Rush to explain to her why he was singing a song to the tune of the original, "Im dreaming of a white Christmas", "Im dreaming of a white COUNTRY".He called her names and did not explain why he did such a repugnant thing.

How much can this man do before his loyal listeners see the reality of this man's agenda?I know some will say he uses absurdities to make a point, Im not buying that excuse. He is blatant in his racism and then tries to point the finger of racism at others.Unbelievable.No wonder McCain has distanced himself from such tactics and such radio talk show personalities.

Rush Incites Riots In Denver

Talk Show Host Wants America To See 'Far Left' Actions

Talk show host Rush Limbaugh sparks controversy after he says riots in Denver during the Democratic National Convention would ensure a democrat is not elected as President.

"Riots in Denver, the Democrat Convention would see to it that we don't elect Democrats," Limbaugh said during Wednesday's radio broadcast. He then went on to say that's the best thing that could happen to the country.

Several callers called in to the radio show to denounce Limbaugh's comments, when he later stated "I am not inspiring or inciting riots, I am dreaming of riots in Denver."

What explains McCain's values? He's a 'brat.'

Growing up in the military, he got a heavy dose of socialism.

Conservatives such as Rush Limbaugh were quick to condemn McCain for his egalitarian instincts. "This is just who he is," said Limbaugh, not realizing the full import of his remarks.

i don't listen to rush not even sure that if we have a station that carries him, i guess that we do but i was never a fan of talk radio, but i know that this is good for his ratings to keep everyone stirred up

we had an election here a long time ago where the mayoral candidate would have a 15 minute rant at the noon hour,EVERYONE would listen to him..i have seen men get so mad that walk away fromt the office we were in, next day at noon they would be back

i believe that these people attract more people they disagree with than those who are in agreement with him

but this is the reason that the demos want every thing wrapped up before the convention..the horrors of 1986 will return if they do not

in november the weather and the tempers will have cooled off..however if people will go out and burn other people's cars because of a hockey then i guess any excuse is better than none

I used to love talk radio before it got so political.

Ken Minyard and Michael Jackson were my favorites. (MJ is still on the air)

They interviewed authors, actors, musicians, as well as political candidates and elected officials. One of my favorite interviews was Leonard Bernstein.

You can hear clips from Michael Jackson over the years by clicking on the old fashioned radio: http://www.radiohof.org/newstalk/michaeljackson.html

"We don't riot. We don't burn our cars. We don't burn down our houses. We don't kill our children. We don't do half the things the American left does."

What a jerk. I cannot stand his attitude. Yes, please let's turn into an 'us-versus-them'.

We don't have enough of that already.

We don't kill our children???? What is he talking about? Abortion?

I don't believe in that either.

I also don't believe in SENDING our children to be killed either.

"Ignore, and it will go away."

If we ignore individuals such as Limbaugh and avoid bestowing undeserved attention upon them, these people will fade from the spotlight. Just my opinion and two cents on this issue.

Commuter, I cant agree, that they will go away if we ignore them.Limbaugh hasn't gone way and has a bigger following than ever.He feeds into the racist ideologies of his listeners and tries to legitamize it.

He is a dangerous man.Such blatant racist statements were ignored by millions of Jews in Europe, they thought they lived in a much more civilized educated country, they thought the people of good conscience would put an end to the race hatred, didn't happen.Maybe my perception is rooted in what happened in the past.Isn't there a saying , those who would forget the past will be in danger of repeating it?

If Limbaugh had no listeners, he'd be a nobody. . .an unknown.

If people would ignore Limbaugh, he'd go away. After all, radio talk shows with dismal ratings and low numbers of listeners do not survive, since sponsors pull out. A talk show with no listeners simply lacks economic viability.

However, people are not ignoring him. Many are addicted to his show, and some crave his thinly veiled comments on issues regarding race, gender, religion, etc.

However, my point still stands. Limbaugh needs an audience to survive as a talk show host (which he definitely has). Without a following of people, this man would simply be talking to the walls.

True enough, but he and others of his ilk seem to have listeners. I don't listen to him everyday, but for some strange perverse reason I do listen to him , probably too often. I guess I listen to hear what he is "preaching" that day, to have a "heads up" regarding the goings on of my philosophical opposites.

I'm not a fan either. I think he causes more harm to his 'side' than good...
