You are reading page 5 of Questioning Elizabeth Warren. If you want to start from the beginning Go to First Page.

I once submitted my aunt's Earthquake Cake recipe to a fundraising cookbook. Just now on line I found a recipe for a similar cake that split down the middle claiming Paula Deen as the creator. But my aunt's does not include a cake mix. I just now thought that maybe she got the recipe from a magazine.

Did I tell a lie when stating it was my aunt's recipe?

Doing research she contributed to a Native American cookbook. However, her contributions were plagiarized.

You are really digging to find irrelevant crap.

I do think cultural appropriation is "irrelevant crap."  Native American and other minorities in this country have been marginalized when they discuss their history or culture.

She contributed recipes to a Native American cookbook at the request of her cousin, further evidence that her family was under the impression they held Native American ancestry.  She did apparently paste and copy a crab omelette and crab salad recipe, although on the scale of evil deeds I rank that fairly low on the scale.

'Cultural appropriation' means that someone is aware that they are not actually part of that culture, race, creed, etc.  Someone who takes on cultural characteristics of a group because they are under the impression they are part of that group is not cultural appropriation.

There's been no evidence or even suggestion that she was aware her family's stated heritage was incorrect, so I'm not sure why you keep insisting the Warren took part in 'cultural appropriation'.

Of course, Warren didn't marginalize anyone by speaking her understanding of family history. Nice try though.

I was talking about the plagiarism crap as irrelevant.

Let's agree to disagree because we are at a stalemate and history will speak for itself. Honestly, people who are offended by Senator Elizabeth Warren will not vote for because of what she has done and continues to have no real policy in place for minorities in this country.

Senator Elizabeth Warren is running for of the President of the  United States of America she must be scrutinized.  She lied and tried to pass a recipe as her families. This is a moot point because we are clearly at a stalemate.

I am not sure where you are getting your information, but the Warren campaign website lists several policies regarding persons of color, as well as other programs that would help minorities. She has reached out specifically to the LGBTQ community, and routinely marches in pride parades.

What policies would you like to see in place for minorities? And do any of the democratic candidates propose them?
