I find I don't want to put it down, but sometimes, the magnitude of suffering these girls went through, is just too much.
Radium apparently reacts like calcium, in the body. It goes straight for bone.
Since the case of the Radium Girls was pivotal in ushering in worker safety rules, I wonder why no one I know has heard of it.
Still waiting for a call back from the state representative.
I chose her because she is an RN, and a Democrat. But I will move on to someone else if she declines.
The facility I work at now, is for profit, and it is managed in a very similar way to the for profit psych facility I worked at.
