Yes, nursej, people are very judgey about food.
I am vegetarian, and overall, healthy eater.
While working in neurosurgery/Neurology clinic during school, the other staff routinely felt the need to comment on my lunch selections. They also felt the need to comment on my diet in general, nearly daily.
It was annoying.
Glad you enjoyed the play, BC. I am thinking about going home to RI briefly, during my weekend off.
I'd like to see something at Trinity Rep Theatre.
My mother sprained her ankle, going down stairs the other day. She is becoming very frail, but she is 84.
Book club this week, and advocacy day at the state House with Moms Demand Action On Gun Violence.
Talli also threw a shoe, so that will need to be taken care of.
I am actually surprised his shoes have stayed on, given the mountains of mud here.
I have a lovely, lovely, patient, who told me about her husband last night.
They were married 59 years, when he died.
She married him at age 16, in a gas station.
The preacher owned the gas station, and she skipped school to get married.
I told her: You are in love, when you get married in a gas station.
She said: I didn't care where I married him. I just wanted to marry him.
My patient with roaches, is probably sundowning. He is only 53, but has dementia, and was a handful last night. A real handful.
Asked MD to order sleep meds and anxiety meds. Before I left this morning, she had them ordered.
I am getting ready to load into the starting gate, and hope I break well for the final leg of this weekend race.
Safe travels to all
