    Mental Health Checks

For someone who would "fight and die" for their second amendment rights, you sure are hell bent on taking other people's rights away from them. There are so many "nopes" to this OP I just can't even begin...

Can you have cats as a nurse?

Can you have cats as a nurse?

See? EVIL. Your cat was up to something, no doubt. Probably figuring out the best way to trip you. Then you couldn't call for help. Then the cat would eat you. A dog wouldn't break your phone.

Can you have cats as a nurse?

I think it's pretty much widely understood that they're evil, stealing a babe's breath as they sleep and eating you as soon as they're able. Dogs, though ... everyone should have a dog.

Can you have cats as a nurse?

Well, I have kids as well as a cat. Everyone has survived so far. I don't think the cat even notices I'm gone. My teens, they notice. Most of the time. I'm not sure you have much to worry about. Then again, I'm more of a dog person ...

Time for a change of pace- Biscotti and tea anyone?

(((Gentle Hugs))) AceofHearts ... I'm really sorry you're feeling so sad and that life took such a turn. Amolucia's suggestion is a good one, especially when you're eating the cookies and the kids are on clean up duty. It sucks when your mind is on one level, the body on another. So (((hugs))).

Time for a change of pace- Biscotti and tea anyone?

I'm drinking hot chocolate while watching the snow fall outside. The kids are deciding on what holiday movie to watch, and I have a black lab who thinks she's 40lbs smaller on my lap. Life is good. Tea is confusing to me. I need to be schooled. I was once at a tea shop in Jackson Hole and just let the waiter order for me when he saw the deer in the headlights look and my "something fruity?" It was good though.

Your Period and Its Spiritual Significance

Definitely. And please record it. And share as an article here on AN. For science, obviously.

Your Period and Its Spiritual Significance

I actually just left my ObGyn's office, discussing this next option. Birth control didn't help my endometriosis, nor did mirena. Like someone else said, pain is pain. I'm not big on my lotus growing anywhere when I'm doubled over yet again ...

I want to get my late Dads writing tattooed

It sounds like a beautiful idea for a tattoo. I have a tattoo on my wrist; it's easily covered by my watch. I'm a tattoo gal; I have 7 of them (all hidden). I don't regret any of them. But I put a LOT of thought into them, and spent months, even years, thinking them into existence. As long as you put thought into it, its permanency and how it can be covered ... I say go for it. But I would wait for the brunt of the grieving to slow down. I'm sorry for your loss (((hugs))).
