    Do YOU Keto?

I did a trial in December then left off for a month through the holiday, began again in earnest in mid-January. I'm down 26 pounds in 5-1/2 months and feel good. I'm using KetoStix and a fingerstick to track myself... thinking about getting one of the breathalyzers, too. The fam is talking about going Paleo (which I did with a lot of success for 18 months or so) which should be fairly easy to share with keto. I'm 15 lbs from my ideal weight which would match my graduation from boot camp at the age of 17.

I see quite alot of tall nurses

I work with a tall guy. I asked him how tall he is and he replied, "519." I looked at him quizzically to which he responded, "five feet, nineteen inches." I replied, "Oh, 4 + 10pi?"

    The Medical Aspect of Execution

Don't confuse brainstorming and problem solving with endorsement. Personally, I'm very conflicted about capital punishment. I just don't see that the task is as difficult to perform as is being made out. If one wants to oppose it on moral, ethical, or religious grounds, so be it. However, to claim that it can't be done with minimal physical pain or suffering is simply false. And... Really? You're conflating support for capital punishment with domestic violence? Really?

    The Medical Aspect of Execution

And frankly, we don't need any drugs... just tap into a large artery and bleed 'em dry...

Ultrasound guided IV... or intraosseous... or even arterial for that matter.

G43 is sweet! Not for sale in California, though.

I hear you. I was pretty favorably impressed by a test shoot done with Glocks. They took 20 off-the-shelf G17s, stripped them, and then dumped all the components into piles. They then reassembled one weapon with randomly selected components and then test-fired it. After 4,500 rounds, a trigger spring broke. They stripped it, grabbed another spring out of the pile, and then continued to lay down another several thousand rounds without a fail. Still not as reliable as a revolver but pretty solid. My bro is a retired SF operator and he swears by Glocks, as do a couple of LEO friends.

I'm in the market for a semi-auto but I'm always concerned about jams. My 870 is old reliable for laying out 5 rounds in fairly quick succession.

It depends on what you want to do with said firearms. Me, I'm on a Glock acquisition cycle. I'm picking up #4 today! Next up, I will break the string and nab a .44 mag revolver to lug around while I'm out in the woods. I live in California so I'm limited to one handgun q30d. I'm making up for 17 years of submitting to my wife's fear of firearms. After that, a Win 94. I'm just not an AR guy. Nothing sadder than an empty gun safe.

I'm a homer... SF Giants, 49ers, and Warriors. Also been a fan of the Spurs ever since they became Mr. Robinson's neighborhood.

NorCal is all about the Dubs and Sharks these days. Though nice to Matt Cain put together some good innings.
