Windows 7: 32 Bit Or 64 Bit Edition?

I think it will depend on your need. At present, 32 bit is the most widely used and also the most prone for attacks. 64 bit on the other hand, is good if you are a computer chess enthusiast like me, when speed really matters...64 bit usually has backward compatibility modes on using 32 bit for programs that can't tolerate 64 bit, but there is no 32 bit to 64 bit compatibility under the 32 bit environment or OS.

Windows 7 Upgrade For XP Users

Just like Vista, whenever there's an update and you are considering it, remember that it will also demand a newer hardware, a more powerful hardware. Just compare Vista and XP. Win98 and XP.

    Are Desktops A Dying Breed?

I think desktops will never be replaced by laptops literally because technology is still not ready to equal the performance of desktop computers. Consider the case of quadcore and other higher cores of cpu. Not to much RAM power, GPU power and hard disk power. Laptop is useful for its portability, but it can never eliminate desktops, at least for now, as of this time of writing.

    Are Desktops A Dying Breed?

Win98 is the most stable Windows based OS. It also loads fast, a pity new softwares no longer support it...

    Female Doc Hitting On Me??

I'd have to disagree here. That's not the case always. It's a stereotype by most people. There are two sides of a coin.

    Female Doc Hitting On Me??

Why not? My advice for the guy is, check it out. You might misinterpret things. Work with time, and you'll discover the truth. Get to know her more.

    Hot Surgeon crushing on me??

neonatal_nurse, You're welcome! Sorry for my delay in replying to your message. I was very busy in the past. Thanks for the compliment and providing more info on the matter. 1-2 sec delay means he is very careful in expressing his thoughts/responses. Responses can influence your views on a person and it can reveal what kind of personality a person has. I see, hmmm, I smell a tradition of MDs but don't let it discourage you. As long as your work is noble and as long as you hold on to your morals, there is nothing to be ashamed of. Oh, that's a good area for you to explore on(dizziness). As a nurse, I think your concern for him will somehow create "sparks".

    Hot Surgeon crushing on me??

yes, that's right but sometimes there are others who are not so brave and are too shy to come out in the open...reminds me of the movie starring will smith, "hitch".

    Hot Surgeon crushing on me??

Interesting story that you have here...:) A story like this makes me feel younger, makes me recall the "school days"...thank you for sharing such a beautiful experience...:) I can somehow relate with your story in this one, but from a man's point of view(POV), I can say that he might be really on to you, or is attracted to you. He might just be too shy for it though(to make the move and let you know of his intentions). There are just guys like that, and count me in. However, if you like him also, or if you might want to know him more, why don't you open "doors or windows(of opportunity)"? Nothing is going to ever happen and you will both be thinking of the what-ifs and might have regrets later on if no one will ever make a move or a step closer to the other, consider it like a stalemate in chess. Sometimes, guys also need some "push" or a "starter", taking some sort of risk without compromising your own safety. It's okay to try but not to let your personal guard down. You can explore and probably communicate with him, in the most subtle way possible, then gradually progress if things would somehow work out.:1luvu: I'm just intrigued though, may we know of these issues that he needs to work on? You will never know what could happen, unless you try. No pain, no gain. No guts, no glory. Gentleman-Lady encounters could really get so stressful but yet inspiring; these are the things that make us human.:nurse: Proceed with caution.:heartbeat hehehe...
