10/17 What I Learned This Week

I'm with you, pecas. I'm 18 years out and I still can't think/write/talk about it with any eloquence. I've written and deleted many comments on that thread. Oh, and Far, I was crying too over the "I was too stupid..." statements. Again, long time ago and I still can't believe I was that stupid. Sorry, thought I was quoting.

10/17 What I Learned This Week

I just learned that I haven't used my laptop since last December, I know this because my outlook told me so. I must say, the blue side looks nicer not on the mobile browser. I had to go to parent teacher conferences tonight. On the bright side, she has As in math and science, not so bright Cs in English and history (which is not even history, its geography and I can just google it). At work, I learned that the CNO thinks of me as the 'voice of floor nursing' because I'm on a committee she attends and I speak up when they have an idea that will negatively impact the bedside. Basically its me in a room full of directors and VPs and docs. My former manager nominated me for it because she thought my mouth would get me fired there. She told me this. I have also learned that a lot of the docs are not on board with our sepsis bundle and like to cancel the lactates that I order, per protocol.

I'm showing 4 WILTWs in my list of must read topics here too.

10/17 What I Learned This Week

It seems that many WILTW threads have been moved here. And I can't get to them from the app, though I tried bookmarking and I know I've commented. Too bad, I don't think it's easy to navigate the mobile site. Guess I'll have to fire up the laptop from time to time.

10/17 What I Learned This Week

Hubs once told me that he wouldn't be wasting his vacation by spending it at the beach. Ummm, that's what a vacation is.

I never cared for the pretty boys either.

I love snuggly kitties. He has thumbs. So does his mom, but she doesn't like me.

That is pretty funny. Is it as interesting as it sounds? I admire people like him who not only challenge, but try to obliterate the status quo.

10/10 What I learned this week

Doesn't sound right. Evangelical lutheran church? I don't know. She's a Mormon now. I don't know the difference in those groups either.

10/10 What I learned this week

Yay, congratulations on others knowing how awesome you are. (I mean that, though it sounds sarcastic). It is gratifying to know that hard work and intelligence are paying off. The two posts this one falls between make it really funny.

10/10 What I learned this week

My mom was 16 when I was born. Then became a very conservative, very devout Lutheran. Our sex talk was "If you make me a grand mother before I'm 40, I'll kill you." "Yes ma'am" Never saw precious and I can't even stomach any kind of abuse on TV or movies.
