How Taxpayers Covered a $1,000 Liquor Bill for Trump Staffers (and More) at Trump’s Club This is an interesting read. I am not certain that the POTUS has any ethics at all.

    Game of Groans

Bad puns, alliteration, characterization, or comments otherwise intended to generate a groan of some type. There will be points awarded according to a wildly biased and feckless grading system. Any participant may award points, claim victory, or assign medals of achievement to any post or commenter. As for me, I want to just die peacefully, in my sleep like my grandfather did. Not screaming and crying like the passengers in his car. And go...

Regarding this trade war against China.

Trump's tariffs and trade wars aren't about human rights, IMHO. Trump has no real track record which would suggest that he is concerned about human rights in any tangible way, anywhere on the globe.

Regarding this trade war against China.

Voluntary agreements imply encouragement rather than enforcement to some people, like me. Wouldn't all international agreements fall into your characterization? Will the North Korea agreement represent à pipe dream too (if we ever see one)? Enforcement may be an issue during this presidency. Trump isn't well known for stellar honesty or ethics, getting him to comply with terms of agreements could be challenging.

    Seriously flawed thinking.

It's almost like some people believe that our American economic and tax system has not been manipulated by the lobbyists of the wealthy to favor the wealthy over the years.

It would be nice if they could make an actual argument against progressive taxation rather than emotional cries of theft.

I see a confused conservative who takes every opportunity to be rude with posters on his new discussion forum.

Yeah. I do have a problem with charlatans using public office as à shield for breaking laws. It would seem that conservatives do not.

He already owned it. It's a rental property, part of his business. The fact that he has not distanced himself from his business interests should concern those who value ethics, honesty, and the rule of law. IMHO

    Domestic Terrorism

If I might join... Good questions. In terms of sensible, we could start with the definition. Cambridge Dictionary I would suggest that the society determines how 'sensible' or 'responsible' are defined in terms of gun legislation. While each individual will continue to have their own views or feelings on the topics, a democratically organized republic should be responsive to the majority as it executes it's responsibility to keep the population safe from threat. The extremist views from any perspective on a topic should never drive the policy in our type of government, IMV. I would agree to stipulate mass shooting = 3+ victims. Children who live in homes with firearms absolutely have a need to be educated in gun safety. That could be part of a national campaign to address this public health crisis. I live in Alaska. I own multiple firearms. I advocate regulation.

    Seriously flawed thinking.

On the topic of seriously flawed thinking and justice, how crazy is it that in the 21st century women could punished for reproductive health choices and physicians could be jailed longer than a rapist for terminating a pregnancy?

You still haven't answered any of the questions asked of you. There is no evidence that what you say has basis in reality.

It does, in so many words. It's hard to comprehend something that you have no interest in reading. There are a variety of thoughtful opinions, available in print and video, which can make cases for specific violations of laws and regulations. Maybe "can't" was the wrong word choice. The argument isn't whether Trump has attempted obstruction right in the open, it's more what should Congress do about it. IMHO
